  6. Need help identifying 2.5* Hotel in Gulfport - Long Beach, MS. 2.5-star Hotel in Gulfport - Long Beach Dates: Aug 30 - Sep 2 This Hotel features the following amenities: Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Free Parking Complimentary Breakfast Free Internet Hotwire rate $79 Any idea on what hotel it could be? Looking for the Holiday Inn Express - Long Beach, MS
  7. I ended up booking the Chateau Bourbon through their reservation ageng for $104 (the government rate). I unsuccessfully tried bidding on Priceline all the way up to $75... so I gave up. I wanted to ensure that I knew I was getting the Chateau based on preferences and location. BTW - for readers, the Chateau Bourbon was worth the $. It was a great location and the parking was easily accessible without Valet. Please know that you WILL be paying for parking anywhere in this area, so don't fight it... accept it. The hotel was clean, spacious, had awesome beds/bedding, and the pool looked awesome, but I didn't go down there, just viewed it from my balcony - hotel was quiet, even though there were late-niter's in the hallway. After visiting NOLA French Q, I can honestly say that you WILL NOT go wrong with this property. Thanks for the help in trying to find me an acceptable bid! Will definitely use you guys in the future!
  8. Another hotel today on HOTWIRE: 3.5* Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Pool Restaurant Business Center High Speed Internet $84.00 Which hotel do you figure it is?
  9. I have tried all the way up to $65, still declined. Not sure what is going on, seems like others have had success for a 3.5* for even less. Do I need to increase to $70?
  10. 3* French Quarter 7/9/10 - 7/12/10 - $55 Hotel search on Hotwire lists: Amenities: Boutique Hotel Swimming Pool Restaurant (on premises) Laundry Facility High Speed Internet Any ideas on what hotel this might be?
  11. I bid at 3.5 level only. Put another bid in today for $58. Declined.
  12. Honestly, I would rather be in "SAFE" night time walking distance, than save the $$ since I am traveling alone. I will be driving around during the day and probably walking the FQ @ night... SAFETY and not driving after dark is an issue for me.
  13. Hi - need help bidding on 3.5*+ New Orleans French Quarter. I understand that usually it's the Chateau Bourbon Wyndham. When I look at Hotwire, I don't even see a 3.5* only 3* & 4* Dates: 7/9/10 - 7/12/10 Female - Traveling solo Priorities: 1. Good hotel (3.5* or 4*) 2. Price (hopefully under $60, but willing to pay up to $65) (Hoping to offset parking fees) 3. Location (nearest to FQ) I like the location of the Chateau Bourbon Yesterday I put in two bids on Priceline $50 and $55... both declined (which didn't surprise me). Thanks in advance! J;)
  14. Ok - I am new to this, but I am looking for this same deal. or similar at least. Do I open an entirely new post with my dates? When I click on the links, it just takes me to their main pages... and I'm not seeing the 3.5 star deal on HOTWIRE. I'm going to apologize in advance if I have not followed the rules, alas, I am new to the whole thing.
