Based on betterbidding reports, I assumed this might be the Embassy Suites, though there is now a Staybridge Suites is that area that might conceivably use the same descriptors. Turned out to be the Embassy. I suspected this would be the Omni South Park, but evidently this Hilton is now a second 4* in the Austin South/Airport area. The best direct price would have been $110, so Hotwire generated a 40% savings. Used the betterbidding HOTWIRE link, of course.

Started at 4* for Dupont/WP at $75, with unsuccessful rebids at $80 and $82. Next try was for 3.5* in Dupont at $75, successful for the Hilton Washington. Used the PRICELINE link, of course ...

Began at $65 for 4* Washington DC (Convention Center / Capital Hill), increasing by $71-76-81-84 with free rebid zones. Decided to include Dupont at $86, next bid of $91 succeeded at Renaissance Washington for total cost of $216.38 with taxes for two nights. Used the PRICELINE link, of course.
