  1. I have been bidding for a few days in this area and yesterday I was declined at $147. Tried again today, started at $125, did not get anything and added the Collins area and rised the bid to $130. Then I got the Shore Club. However, I tried the offer to add an additional night, Saturday September 3 but it did not work. They wanted $174 and I did not accept that. Will try again for Friday and Saturday in a couple of weeks.... This hotel looks great!
  2. I was bidding for several days on 4* hotels in the South Beach area. I bid up to $147 and did not get anything so I added the beach area and I got the Eden Roc. I used your PRICELINE link to start my bid.
  3. I was trying for Rio. I am going to attend an event there but Palms will be fine since it is so close and at that price I am very happy! I started at $30 for 4* west and got declined. I raised it to $35 and $40 by adding zones without 4* hotels. Got palms at $40 a night.
  4. I tried to bid yesterday and offered $43, $44 and $45 for all three airport zones. Finally, on my third bid I got a counter offer for $58 that I did not accept. Today I bid $43 for the South zone and immidiately got the $58 counter offer on my first try. I declined it, added the North zone and raised the bid to $45 and got the Westin. I am very happy with that and I did use your link to to access PRICELINE.
  5. Been trying to bid for the weekend of april 30:th to May 2 for several days without any success. I bid all the way up to $145 for a 4* in Downtown and did not even get a counter offer. Then I decided split the bid and just try for Sunday. I got Intercontinental on May 1 for $95. I tried to extend the stay for Saturday night but got declined for the same rate. They offered $145 and I actually took it because I am a Ambassador member. I have got Intercontinental hotels before through Priceline and Howire (Intercontinental in Rome) and they have always honored my membership. Both in the U.S and in Rome I got a free upgrade, water bottles and even the fruit basket and a complimentary movie so I really appreciate them

  7. Sorry, I forgot to mention it but I did use the link to start my bid! Thanks!
  8. I bidded for 4* hotels only. Started at $85 and had to rebid four times by adding zones and $1 to each bid. ( Zones used = Harbour, Quincy, Copley & Waterfront). I never got any counteroffers but finally I won The Westin Copley Place for $88. I have never been to Boston but I am very happy with that!
  9. I used your PRICELINE link to bid on a *4 star hotel in San Juan. I did not check mark the box for resort because I did not want to pay a resort fee but they still gave me a hotel from the resort category. The Caribe Hilton. I knew that they can upgrade you in star levels but I did not think that they would switch me from the hotel to the resort category because of that reason...
  10. 4* Downtown and Inner Harbor Smoke Free rooms Restaurant(s) Fitness center Business Center High Speed Internet Recommended in 95 % of Hotwire customer reviews Luckily, it was hotel Monaco, I was hoping for that property. First I tried priceline for the night before (sept 30) but I got the Marriott Waterfront. I recently stayed at the Monaco in Portland and loved the hotel so I went to Hotwire in order to try to target the Monaco. I used the link on this site to access hotwire.
  11. I was bidding up to $73 yesterday by adding different zones where I knew they did not have any 4* hotels but did not get anything. Today when I tried $70 I got a counter offer for $90 that I rejected. I tried again for $75 by adding a zone and won the Marriott Baltimore Waterfront.
  12. I tried 3.5* for downtown with a bid of $60 and got the message to increase my bid to $70. By doing that they would let me try one more time. I did and still I got nothing. So, I added the Stapleton area and lowered my bid to $50. I did not expect much but won the Renaissance Denver. Looks nice and they have a complimentary shuttle from the airport so that will work out perfect for me! I am very happy!
  13. Thank You. I booked the Hyatt Convention center directly for those two nights instead. At that high of a price I decided to just go with my #1 choice. However, for Tuesday 27/7, I will arrive late so I don't really care where I would stay. So I tried 3.5* for downtown with a bid of $60 and got the message to increase my bid to $70 and they would let me try one more time. I did and still I got nothing. So, I added the Stapleton area and lowered my bid to $50. I did not expect much but got the Renaissance Denver on my winning priceline bid. Looks nice and they have a complimentary shuttle from the airport so that will work out perfect for me! I am very happy!
  14. I tried to bid $110 for a *4 hotel in Denver downtown on July 28 and 29th. The bid was rejected without a counter offer. I was surprised because the bid was a lot higher than I ever started out before. I just figured that any 4 star hotel would be fine and I saw that people had got the Hyatt convention center at that price previously. I also saw that people had won the Sheraton and Warwich for as low as $70 - $75 but was not offered either one of them either. Did I bid too high to get them? Strange? Does anyone know if that is a busy week for Denver or if something is going on?
  15. I won the The Algonquin Hotel for June 24-26 for $195. I tried to bid every day for the last 8 days around $175-$190 with no luck for midtown east, west and the times square area. I finally got this bid accepted for a 4 star hotel when I put in the 3 areas previously mentioned..
