a so called resort so resort fee to pay - best advertised price was around twice what we paid 

I've stayed at all of those in years gone by. Good rates. I would prefer Marriott if at all possible. Thanks so much. Will ponder. Dates are fixed as flights booked. As I am paying for two rooms I need a good rate at a nice hotel. 

We would prefer Copley square or the theatre district

Is it too soon to bid on a Boston hotel for just after thanksgiving?

i have looked at hotel websites and four nights x 2 rooms is over $2400 ( ouch)

Started bidding at $70.

Offered a room if increased fifer to $95.

Declined and continued to bud adding free zones.

Eventually accepted at $85.

Then our flight was cancelled.

PRICELINE were excellent in dealing with my conundrum.

I will be rebooking for early next month.....hopefully I get equally good deal.

tried for a couple of days and found the hotwire rates were well over $100 for 4* airport hotels

tried priceline a couple of days ago at around $70 without luck

tried again today and bid $72 rejected but a counter offer of $92 made

opened new link and tried again adding ''free zone'' and opened bidding at $82 which was rejected and a counter offer of another $20 made

went back to the original link and increased offer to $92

it seemed a reasonable offer

i saw the hilton was ''won'' and posted on better bidding so was expecting this hotel but it was the hyatt instead

i've stayed there before so was quite happy

I looked at the hotwire list on bb and think it could be the crown plaza

i saw some good rates on bb for 4* with priceline but am worried about getting the sheraton as it is a poor hotel with small rooms (twin single beds) or queen beds

(the rate was around $52 for recent winning bids)

crowne plaza is much preferable to the sheraton as we are two adults and a teenager
