A few days ago my boyfriend booked a one nt stay via PRICELINE for a 3.5 and the result was the Hilton DeSoto. The property is going through a pool renovation (right outside of our room); the night front desk agent swore that they were sold out and that there were no longer any rooms available. Thus, we were stuck with the loud renovation "wakeup" call and two double beds as opposed to a King. Really want a boutique hotel...preferrably the AVIA property. Any suggestions?

Hi, I am trying to travel from Atlanta to Atlantic City. I would prefer to return to Atlanta either Saturday evening or arrive in Atlanta Sunday morning at the very latest. I have been looking on Expedia...they have a mystery bargain fare that I am curious about. I am very leary of spirit airlines and there extreme layovers...what should I do??? I am really trying to maximize my time there.

I apologize. That was a tad bit confusing...so I erred on the side of caution. Though price is indeed important, I am more interested in being able to identify where I am staying...I wanted to shoot for a range of 89.00 to 150.00 per night. Is this realistic for 3.5 and 4 star properties in the Charleston area?

Hi, We will be going to Charleston on June 24th (Thurs evening through Sunday) for a 3 night stay; the historic district (downtown) would be preferable, although we wouldn't mind a nice property on the beach...heard that Isle of Palms is nicer than Folley Beach. Could you please advise us on a reasonable bid? We would like a 3.5 or 4* (preference) hotel. Are there any boutique hotels in Hotwire's zone?
