  1. Well... I can't say it's a bad deal, 85$ for a 3* in Downtown NYC, but cannot say that I'm thrilled to be on Wall Street. I was hoping to be able to get out of the hotel in the morning and hop to a bakery nearby to get a morning pastry and ... Yep, I apparently confused NYC and Paris! :) I used the
  2. Hi! It's my first time using Priceline and I'm still a bit woozy from all this trepidation, but I'm fairly confident that I've made a very nice deal! :) Now I'm attempting to repeat this with a mid-January 2 nights in New York, with a lot less success, of course. I think I'm just too early for NYC bidding. I'll keep you informed, in the proper sub-forum, of course! Thanks for all the great tips, I shall be using the mystical link again!
  3. Great tips, thanks! I'm looking forward to a pre-cruise night in January 2011, and I'd probably be willing to pay a bit more with HOTWIRE compared to PRICELINE if I can be relatively sure I'm going to get the Hyatt, where there's a registration desk for the Disney Cruise Line. But since I'm way too soon, I'll keep my eyes peeled for rating changes for these 2 hotels and get back on track in December! I saw some good wins for the Hyatt with PRICELINE, but there's too much 3,5* in the area and the added value of avoiding the registration at the terminal is worth a few bucks more, I'm not THAT cheap! :)
