Maybe i should try a 3.5 star first in all the zones you listed. For 200, or higher? You tell me.

I would like the highest star quality for the price. And my $200 is base price (prior to fees), but if i could get something better for 210 that would be fine. My only reservation about cabbing on the way home is that 15000 other people may be trying to cab also. This was a problem for me in other cities but may not be in downtown NY. And if there are late night bars near the arena, we could wait around there til the flow dies down. Thanks in advance

I will go higher. 200-215 prior to fees. Money is not the most crucial issue. I want a decent room in a good location. Thanks for the input.

I am gong to be attending a concert at MSG on Friday 5-21. First time to NYC, going to spend Saturday and part of Sunday "touring around." I dont necessarily need to be very close to arena. I would gladly walk 1-1.5 miles or cab it (so i dont necessarily have to be in MSG section). Any ideas. My budget is up to 200/night. Thanks
