  1. Used the Betterbidding PRICELINE link. Bid on 3/4 starting at $45, increased to 48 with free bid zone, accepted at $54.
  2. My wife and I are trying to plan a weekend get away the second weekend in October. We would like to stay at a resort, but would drop to a 4 star if we could get it for around $100 per night. Thanks for your help.
  3. Me and some friends (wives included) are celebrating our 40th Bday and are going to leave the kids with their Grandparents and hit the strip. Looks like the best people are doing on the Venetian is $122 per night. It being the only 5* gives me a good number of re-bids. If I bid and win first, will that lessen the chance of my friends booking. I already asked if they wanted me to try booking all three rooms, but they would rather book separate. There is no chance of us ending up with different hotels right? Your recommended strategy would be greatly appreciated. Please make sure you send me the link and I will be sure to use it like I did last time you provided a strategy. Thanks, Rick
  4. Your Offer Price: $36.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 6 Subtotal: $216.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $40.72 Total Charges: $256.72 Started with $34 - South Increased to $36 and added Downtown Was hoping for the Raddison, but not complaining.
  5. Stayed 2/26/05 Saturday Night. Not bad at all and for the PL price of $49 or 63 after taxes and fee. It is about 7 blocks from the inner-harbor. I don't think that is too bad, but I am a 6'-2" male. Something closer would have been better, but not for twice the price. The Good: Changing from a single Queen non-smoking to 2 double non-smoking high up for a more interesting view was easy. The guest representative made the change with a smile. Elevator was fine (North Tower). Although room was not filled with new furnishings, it was clean. The Bad: The water pressure for the shower would fluctuate between very weak and nothing. And when I say nothing, I really mean it STOPPED! Bonus: The garage attendant gave me a free token for parking. The hotel was hosting an Au pair conference. Great way to check out the Baltimore bars while avoiding a DUI.
  6. Saturday night stay 2/26 Started bidding at $50 for a 4*, got up to $70 with free re-bid zones. Then started working on 3* at $40 increased by $3 until bid was accepted at $49. Your Offer Price: $49.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $13.64 Total Charges: $62.64 I saw that some people have not been happy with this hotel. I will keep my fingers crossed.
