  1. FYI, Sofitel Minneapolis has a weekend rate of $89 including breakfast for two (Fri & Sat). I've tried to bid up to $65 (~$80 w/tax) and still no luck, and PL bids do no have breakfast. If you are staying over the weekend, it's better off to book directly.
  2. Does Sofitel offer free breakfast for Priceline customers?
  3. Thanks gmarie for the suggestion! I just booked the jeep wrangler with Alamo, with tax it comes up with $204 for 5 days - the total is about the same as bidding for $30 for a convertible over priceline.
  4. for 4/12-4/17 (5 days), the cheapest I can find using car rental checker is $290 + tax, total ~$330. I saw other people have won below $30 a day -- actually I haven't seen others paid more than $35 for a convertible in HNL...
  5. Now a lot of us have got a great price for the Prince Kuhio in Wakiki South (see posts in the hotel forum), what about the rental car? I know convertible is a "must-have" for a Hawaii vacation, but I have tried up to $30 and still got rejected. How much should I bid? The date is from 4/12 - 4/17, 5 days. Thanks for the help!!!
  6. Have bid up to $72 for a 3* in Waikiki South 2 days ago and was rejected. Saw the recent post of Waikiki South for $69 and decided to give another try. I knew there are 2 free bidding zones so I took my chances - if $58 is rejected, then I can add a zone and bid $70. Here's the detail: Radisson Hotel Waikiki Prince Kuhio Check-In Date: Tuesday, April 12, 2005 Check-Out Date: Saturday, April 16, 2005 Your Offer Price: $58.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 4 Subtotal: $232.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $37.94 Total Charges: $269.94 I want to thank LoneStar for all the help, this board is great!
  7. LoneStar, thank you so much for the info! I took a gamble and got the Prince Kuhio for $58!! :) :) I'll post a new thread for my result! Thanks again, you are awesome!
  8. Dates are 4/12-4/16 for 4 nights. First tried $68 for a 3* in Waikiki South (was hoping for Radisson Kuhio) and was rejected, got a counter offer to add $17 but didn't take it. Added Airport and tried $70, rejected. Added Ihilani and tried $72, still rejected. I saw other people are getting Radisson Kuhio from $65-70, am I bidding too early? should I wait? Thanks for any suggestions you may provide!
