Just wondered - when a hotel sees you paid less than its going rate for a room by booking it though priceline, will it only assign one of its least popular rooms or a room there is something wrong with?
Never used priceline or hotwire before but need to book a 5 star hotel in london for a special birthday. Wanting to stay somewhere special in either the mayfair/soho area or the kensington/earls court/ knightsbridge area If there is anyone who has any advice or bidding strategy for a first time user would be very grateful eg i want to book for 17th and 18th may - should i start booking now or nearer the time? is there anything i can do to influence the chance of getting a specific hotel? any other general advice? thank you so much to anyone who can help
