Anyway, my "economy" car turned out to be a minivan, even though I placed this bid at 2:30 on the day of the rental - all they had left were minivans, SUV's (for an extra $15/day) and full-size Lincolns - not sure what the extra charge was for those. So I relived that Seinfeld episode.

Really wanted to be in Dublin or OSU zones, but after bidding up to $64 for a 3-star in Dublin, and up to $60 for a 2.5 star in OSU, gave up and started at $40 for a 4-star downtown. PRICELINE counteroffered at $52, I accepted.

A friend did the bidding on this one, so I'm not sure what the details are (first bid, zones added, etc.)

Update - I'm now up to $110, 3-star, downtown Minneapolis, 8/7-8/10 (also tried 8/6-8/10, since that's how long I'll be there; I'll probably end up splitting the stay), with no luck. There isn't much available (having searched Sidestep, Tripadvisor, etc).
