I am searching for a 4* hotel in London in the Kensington-Earl's Court Area - I am coming up with 4* for $153 - Amenities Include Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, High Speed Internet. Any ideas? There is also a 3 1/2* that comes up at $197/night with the same amenities. Help!

Yes, I do have a room. I am helping some non-internet people who will also be on the trip obtain rooms.

Case - The Sheraton OSJ does have a 2 night minimum for weekends, but that is if you book directly. I got my one night pre-cruise stay at the Sheraton for a Saturday night for under $100 with taxes and fees. Just look at the amenities for this hotel and check out HOTWIRE.

Just booked my pre-cruise hotel stay for December 3, 2005. I was very excited to see a low price for this hotel again. I saw it way back when it was $84 and I was waiting for payday to book it. Then it jumped up to $144, at which point you could book directly through the hotel's website for $150. I was kicking myself for missing that window. I figured since I would be paying full price I would just wait a while longer and check other discount websites to see what I could come up with, as I wanted this specific hotel. Today I just decided on a whim to check again for kicks. When I saw the $86, I re-read the threads here to check the amenities again (Casino, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Center, Tennis nearby, Business Center, and Laundry Facilities) to be absolutely sure it was the Sheraton OSJ. When I saw it was, I clicked that Purchase button as fast as I could. Total with Hotwire fees and taxes was $101.95. So, thank you to everyone here for your help, and especially to the Admin!

I have been back and forth between this site and the "other" site to get info. Seems like there hasn't been a lot of luck for San Juan lately with anything that was a real deal - most were real close to what you would pay directly through the hotels. But, I tried about once a week on Priceline for our post-cruise stay (our Pre-cruise stay we want to stay at the Sheraton OSJ, so Priceline is not an option there), and on Friday, I lucked out and my bid of $80 was accepted for 1 night on December 11th. I started with a bid of $ 90 for resort, and when that was rejected, I added 3* and lowered my bid to $80. This bid was accepted and we got the Radisson Ambassador. :) I have printed out the reviews at trip advisor to read on my train ride home from work tonight, but I'm not too worried either way. Looks like we got a good deal for a nice place to relax after our cruise before we head back home to the snow. :)

Thank you for all your help :) I have been going on Priceline for my post-cruise stay and trying once a week or so to get a good deal. I finally scored on Friday. I got the Radisson Ambassador for Dec 11th - 1 night stay - for $80. So, now all I have to worry about is the pre-cruise stay. We are really wanting the Sheraton Old San Juan, but if it stays $144 through Hotwire, I guess, we might as well book directly with the hotel, as you can get it for $150. I'll keep checking Hotwire, just in case.

I just did another Hotwire Search for December 3, 2005, 1 night, 2 people and the 3* hotel lists amenities as only: Restaurant, Pool, Business Center. The cost was $131. Any ideas which hotel this might be?

Darn - I was hoping maybe they just fluctuated. I had a feeling I should've grabbed it when I saw it for $84. The $144 it is going now is no big deal, since I can get it through the hotel directly for $150. :)

Do the prices on Hotwire change that dramatically very often? I found the Sheraton OSJ on there a little over a week ago for $85 and today it is $144!
