Tried getting loose the 4* at $55 and was turned down...lowered to include 3.5* and price down to $44 and bid was accepted. 4 rooms on April 9 - 11th. Used the BB PRICELINE link as always. GO CARDINALS!!! KD

Looking at anywhere downtown (4 rooms) and 4*. I'm probably OK with 3.5* but want to try 4*.

I see there are tons of options for 3.5*...has anyone had any luck getting a 4* and at what price? For all my bachelor party trips I've used BB and Priceline and it's never failed. Looking for help on another one. Thanks, KD

First try at $60, probably a bit over spent, but wanted this hotel and knew from star ratings, it was one of few 3 stars. Gambled and it worked.

I was trying to get the Renaissance Grand or Hilton, which are usually the first selection... Started bid at 4* Downtown $58...after seeing recent bids hit for the same thing. REJECTED Added other zone, increased to $61....ACCEPTED Not the hotel that I was expecting, but it will have to do. BB has helped again!!! Thanks

I sure did...and it worked...but ended up with the 3*...but still worked out well. The butcher part is Pavillioin hotel charges a above average price ($20) for overnight parking...OUCH!!!

Tried 4* for 45 and got turned down....denied option to increase $13 and added 3* with 4* only Downtown and won....Perfect procedure Thanks again KD EDIT:: It is actually rated on PL as a 3*...sorry

Just looking to see if anyone can offer some assistance to a college kid looking for a weekend get-a-way with his soon-to-be-fiance for April 15-17. I am trying to get a super nice hotel at a great price...but just started research and looking for easy advice. Thanks for any help you can give.

The dates are 2/12 Check in to 2/13 check out. Just Saturday night. It is the remodled hotel on 14th Street. Called them today to request room type, and they upgraded me to king size bed with city view at no extra cost.

Got what I thought was a great deal on this historic St. Louis Hotel (the Sheraton is the mural painted one by HWY 40). Total bill was 47.40 after a $35 bid. Plus it's Valentines Day weekend. GOOD DEAL....thanks for the help on this great website.
