I used the PRICELINE link provided here and received this property on my first bid. I bid a little high because I really wanted either this property or the Hyatt Regency and didn't have an extra day to try and re-bid. Prior posts show the Hyatt Regency has gone between as low as $10 less.
The hotel is actually in Conshohocken which is about 10 minutes away from where I needed to be. The money I saved through PL now has to be spent on a cab. Ugh, oh well, you win some you lose some.
This used to be the Hilton. It's a very nice hotel, glad I got it. I'm not sure when PL started the Columbia North and South thing but it can be pretty confusing, I think. Edited to add the date, sorry. 1/05/10
Bid $65 for 3.5* and was rejected but could have purchased if I went to $82. Decided to try the 3* at the same price and received the Hilton for 1 night.
I have some pretty specific requirements for this trip so I am going to book directly through Hilton and at least earn some points, lol. Thank you! PS- I am a pretty frequent PRICELINE and HOTWIRE user. You'll be seeing me around....
Okay, I clicked on both the links. I would prefer not to use PRICELINE for this trip because I know I would get the La Quinta. I don't have a problem with staying there if need be but was hoping to get closer to White Marsh. Knowing what the HOTWIRE properties are in that area may help me get closer. I will absolutely use your links once it's time to bid.
There isn't anything listed for this area so I'm not sure what hotels they could be. I need to be loser to White Marsh so Rosedale would work but Essex definitely would not. I'd appreciate any thoughts...
Maybe this is a new property, I don't know but the only amenity listed is High speed internet. The customer satisfaction rating is 4.0. Any thoughts what property this may be? \ Thanks!!!!
