had great success for booking my hotel pre-cruise on hotwire and got the Renaissance for $61! Post cruise we are also staying the night but renting a car so I am looking for a hotel with free parking. just having a little trouble figuring out what this hotel is. Any help offered is greatly appreciated!

I was originlly thinking it was possibly hyatt place or hyatt house but they are too far north I believe to be considered this part of the map. Anyone have any ideas?
I went ahead and booked it. My wife was yelling at me to stop dilly dallying and book it!!! LOL It was the Renaissance cruise port. The rate through other sites is $139 paid $64 through hotwire. Great deal!!

turned out to be Hyatt place. very pleased

I was getting the $100 price difference in my other post based upon published rates for the Hyatt Regency on the Hudson and Hyatt Place in secaucus (I may have exaggerated slightly but with parking its probably about that). I have no clue what I am getting on HOTWIRE for jersey city. all I saw on HOTWIRE was 4* for 124 in jersey city/hoboken. That's still $50 more and probably another $30 for parking. Don't know if it's worth it.

I realize this is an old thread but was hoping for some clarification. I am looking to stay in secaucus/meadowlands area simply because jersey city's hotel prices during the time I wish to visit is about double that of secaucus + paying for parking. I am reading the 320 Bus Schedule to NY, which is kind of greek to me, but am I reading it right? Will I be able to get to and from the hotel with a bus from Secaucus until a little after midnight including weekends?
This seems pretty convenient to me, however I've been routinely finding people saying that it is inconvenient to stay in Secaucus because you have limited bus service on nights and weekends. If I do not plan on being in the city past midnight is it a big deal to stay in Secaucus? I will pay for the hotel in Jersey city if necessary, but would rather not considering it is an extra $100 a night plus parking. Is it worth the extra money? Any help is greatly appreciated! thanks!

I am thinking could also be the Holiday inn Fort Lauderdale airport??? seems to somewhat match up and is right on the north end of the territory map
