After several unsuccessful times bidding at a lower level I finally accepted the fact that I would have to bid more than $110. First bid $115 Second bid $120 Third bid $125 - accepted.

I was trying to get the Hawaii Prince in Waikiki North last night for December 1st and 2nd. I know, I know, I'm a little anxious for the trip. Anyway, I bid $110, $115 and $120 and came up empty. I looked in the vacation packages and was able to see that the hotel is available. I'm wondering if the prices are creeping up (as some of you had predicted/observed). I think I'm going to wait it out for a bit - no hurry really. Any other advice? Thanks

Thanks for your help and for the board. I'm just trying to get the hang of Priceline and implementing the advice I have gleaned from this board - which has been very helpful. I'm headed to Hawaii for two weeks in November/December and this served as my "practice" reservation to begin my priceline adventures.
