Won on the first bid for $130. I had previous been trying for 5/18/11-5/21/11 and bid up to $150 but couldn't get it. Ended up splitting my bid and getting a priceline win at the Hotel Monteleone at $135 for 5/18-5/20 and this win at $140 for 5/20-5/21 for Marriott New Orleans.
Initially was trying for 5/18/11-5/21/11 and bid up to $150 but wasn't having any luck. I changed my dates to 5/18-5/20 (removing Friday night) and successfully got a room for $135/night at Hotel Monteleone. I tried adding on a 3rd night for the same price but of course PRICELINE wouldn't let me. I ended up booking Friday night on Expedia at a different hotel (Iberville Suites) which was about $100 cheaper than booking a night at Hotel Monteleone directly. Iberville is only 2 blocks away and I figured for $100 I could switch hotels for 1 night. This forum was very helpful and I used the PRICELINE link from the forum. Thanks everyone!
I tried these same dates (6/10-6/13), same area (Quincy Market - Faneuil Hall - Financial), 4* and bid up to $150 and didn't get it. I know I'm doing this over a week later so probably prices have gone up. What can I expect to get this for?
