As requested, a follow-up to this listing: Due to a family illness, this trip to Orlando was postponed. We are now planning to go to Orlando the weekend of October 2-3. We'll be at the La Quinta Orlando Convention center at $49.50 per night through La Quinta's web site.

Yes, a condo or suite for the one night. For now, plan B is to wait and see what pops up. This time of year, you can usually come up with something last minute that will be workable. Thanks.
