  1. Amenities: Pet friendly Boutique hotel Smoke-free rooms Fitness center Restaurant(s) Business center Internet access Golf nearby Spa services Had 85% approval rating (this is how I knew that it was likely going to be the W hotel). I am very happy with this as the W hotels are always great. And as usual, I used the HOTWIRE link through betterbidding.
  2. Just used priceline express to get Hotel Irvine for $85/night. Got it for two nights, for a total of $199.68 with tax. Am very happy with this as it was the very hotel I was looking for. The "guaranteed amenities" included: Indoor or Outdoor Pool Pets Allowed Restaurant Fitness Center Airport Shuttle Free Breakfast Business Center The free breakfast was what I banked on most, as the only 3.5 star hotels in this zone with free breakfast are this and Embassy Suites. However, only this was pet friendly. As always, used the PRICELINE link through this great website!! Thanks again, BetterBidding!!
  3. Started at $60, increased by increments of $3. After adding two zones, got accepted at $66, for a total of 84.77 with tax. The great thing about this hotel is that it apparently has free self parking since you can park your car at the galleria mall parking lot. As always, used the PRICELINE link!
  4. I just realized that I never updated the board about this. I ended up bypassing the PRICELINE EXPRESS, since I was worried about possibly getting the Holiday Inn, and ended up directly booking through Embassy Suites using a corporate discount. Sorry for the delay in responding, but thanks again for the help in the first place!
  5. Started at $80 and went up $5 at a time by adding zones that did not have 4 stars available. Ended up with Omni La Mansion Del Rio for total of $231.62. Reviews seem pretty good and well located. As always, used the Priceline link!
  6. Started my bidding at $80 and raised it by $5 each time, adding a zone with less than 3.5 stars available each time. After 7 tries, finally got the Sheraton. For some reason, hotels are expensive for this one night, not sure if there is a convention or what, but the $110 price (with tax $133.54) was the best for Sept 10th. I wonder if the prices would have gotten cheaper had a waited a little longer, since it is still FIVE months out! haha. As always, I used the betterbidding PRICELINE link!
  7. On my first attempt, got my bid accepted for $70 for the sheraton hotel in downtown Phoenix for 1/8 to 1/10/14. Hotel has great reviews and so am happy with it, just wish I would've started my bidding at a lower amount, lol. And as always, used the PRICELINE link through this board to book it :)
  8. Okay, thanks for the information. Still haven't decided what route to use for my booking, but I will keep the board updated as soon as I do. Thanks again!
  9. Trying to book a hotel for 1/6 to 1/8/14 in Flagstaff, AZ, and Priceline Express has a 3* for $70. Any clue as to what hotel that might be? I looked for other posts and closest thing I found was Embassy Suites? The amenities include: Guaranteed Amenities: Free Breakfast Free Internet in room Indoor Swimming Pool Outdoor Swimming Pool Free Parking Business Center Fitness Center Any help would be appreciated!!!
  10. Just booked the Aria hotel and couldn't be happier! This is for 1/3/13 to 1/6/13 at a rate of $93/night. I was worried about getting the Bellagio but upon reviewing other posts here on Better Bidding, I noticed that although the Bellagio and Aria essentially have the same amenities, that Aria is a resort and the Bellagio is not. So when I saw "resort" as one of the amenities, I felt more confident that it would be Aria. Upon booking it, sure enough, it was!! The amenities for me were the following: Resort Free Parking Casino Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet access Golf Nearby Spa Services Accessible for the blind Accessible for the deaf Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking Roll-in shower Hope this is helpful for others as well! As always, I used the HOTWIRE link through this great website! I love Better Bidding!! Don't know how I would ever book a room without it!!!
  11. First tried $102 with financial district, got rejected. Then added soma-moscone center and raised my bid to $115, got rejected again. Then added USW-Nob Hill and tried $120, which finally got accepted. Makes me wonder if I wouldve been able to get this for my initial $102 bid had I tried USW first, lol. Im happy anyway though since it's 4th of july weekend. And as always, I used the PRICELINE link.
  12. Sorry, don't know why the amount got truncated, but the price that I got it for was $65 ($82.92 including tax)
  13. Got it on my first bid. Would've tried for a lower amount had I known it would get accepted on my first try, lol. My first time staying here so am excited to see how good of a resort it actually is. And as always, I used the better bidding PRICELINE link.
  14. Tried $40 initially, got rejected. Added another zone (was easy because no other zone even has 3.5 as an option) and got accepted with $45 for three nights. And as always, I used the better bidding PRICELINE link to make my purchase.
  15. Tried $45 initially, got rejected. Added Tucson Airport zone and upped my bid to $50 and got accepted. Regular price of hotel before taxes on the sheraton website is $145, so I'm pretty stoked about this deal! And as always, I used the better bidding PRICELINE link.
  16. First tried $50, got rejected. Added a non 4 star zone and tried $55, got rejected again. Added a third non 4 star zone and tried $60 and got accepted. And as always, I used the better bidding PRICELINE link.
  17. Tried $55, got rejected. Added north hollywood and increased my bid to $60 and got accepted. Have stayed here before and am really happy with the hotel. And as always, I used the PRICELINE link to make my reservation.
  18. Tried $60 on my first attempt, after seeing that it was an acceptable price per this website, and it got accepted. Staying 1/28 to 1/30/11. Was really worried that I was going to get the holiday inn, as another user of this site had mentioned that they have. And as always, I used the PRICELINE link on this site for my booking.
  19. Tried getting these nights last week, started at $60 and went up as high as $70, didn't work. Tried to do it one more time today with a $65 bid and I hit it! And as always, I used the PRICELINE link for all of my attempts. $65/night for dates 11/26-11/29/10
  20. Hello Yellowdog, So the amenities, as per my hotwire account for my stay at the radisson tucson suites, were: Suite Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Hope that helps for any future hotwire users that need to stay in Tucson :) p.s. The hotel ended up being MUCH better than I thought it would be
  21. The hotel ended up being Radisson Suites Tucson at 6555 East Speedway Boulevard. Although the pictures of the hotel seem decent, I really thought that I would get either the Hilton or Sheraton. Can't say I'm upset with what I ended up with but am definitely not excited either. So now we have to add this hotel to the tucson hotwire list for 3.5 stars. Anyway, I did use the HOTWIRE link on this site, only after I also had used the PRICELINE link and got rejected for bids up to $65.
  22. Ended up being 'radisson suites tucson'. Will post details on a new thread.
  23. Hi Judy, any luck with finding a hotel in tucson? I too am wondering as to what hotels the 3.5 stars in East Tucson consist of. Hotwire has it for $65 for next month, which isn't bad at all. If you have had any luck as to finding out which hotels the 3.5 stars are, I would appreciate it if you could post it :) . Thanks!
  24. Thank you! And thank you to this site for helping me find the best hotel at the cheapest possible price on a busy halloween weekend!
  25. Tried $55 initially but got rejected. Added Simi Valley and rasied my bid to 60 and got accepted :)
