  1. Date of stay is night of 9/17/05 and it is showing a rate of $116 per night.
  2. Hotwire has a 3.5* hotel listed in the Coconut Grove/Coral Gables section with the following description: Boutique Hotel, Restaurant (s), Pool (s), Fitness Center, High Speed Internet Access, Business Center. I'm thinking this could either be the Sonesta (which is normally a 4 star rated hotel) in Coconut Grove or the Hotel St. Michel in Coral Gables. Thanks for any help on this.
  3. Thanks for the feedback. Maybe I'll wait a while to bid again, since the vacation is pretty far in the distance. I would like to stay in Sedona, and the only properties Priceline offers in Sedona are resorts, and 1 and 2 star hotels. Because it has no 3 star hotels, I'd like to keep bidding for a resort. I guess my maximum bid for this would be $80-85. Since this is in October, what is a good time frame to bid?
  4. Yep - it was Hotwire. Here are the amenities: Airport Shuttle Property offers an airport shuttle service. In some cases, shuttles run for limited hours, require a reservation or charge a fee. Restaurant(s) At least one restaurant is located on the premises. Restaurant hours may vary. Pool(s) Property features at least one pool area. (Note: This amenity offering may be seasonal. Please check hours/availability directly with the property.) Fitness Center Exercise equipment is available for guest use. An additional fee may apply. Laundry Facilities (self-service) Guests have access to a coin-operated washer/dryer.
  5. This is during the Albuquerque balloon fiesta, so all prices in the area are inflated at that time. Thought this was a pretty good deal considering.....
  6. I've been checking prices on Hotwire for a few weeks. Earlier this week, I checked about 10 pm and the price had dropped from $17.95 a day to $14.95 a day, for a 6 day rental from Phoenix airport (compact). I thought this was a really good deal for the area.
  7. Trying to win one night in Sedona, a Wednesday. I first chose Sedona and a resort, with a bid of $56. Then added Flagstaff, and upped my bid to $58. Last, I added Belleview and upped the bid to $60, and this too was rejected. I see many people have won the Radisson Poco Diablo for around $56-58 per night, so I'm wondering why I didn't get a room? Maybe October is the busy season?? I'll probably try again in three days. Any suggestions for re-bids?
  8. I'm new to this process.. bid $50 first, then again at $64. Seems like a good deal to me - can't find the room for cheaper than $200 anywhere else.
