I work at a La Quinta and get many Priceline reservations a day. Priceline, who acts as a travel agent, usually puts them in a room with 2 queen beds, but when the guests shows up, we ask them if they need one bed or two beds and try to accommodate the request based on our availability. I also use Priceline many times a year and as soon as I win a hotel bid, I will call the hotel up to see if they had gotten the reservation and I ask them the room type they have me in. Depending on the hotel, they will most likely get you in the room type you request (one bed, two beds).
