All in all, this was a cute boutique hotel. We got it for $65 on a Friday night, not bad. Nice neighborhood. It's all decorated in blues and whites. The lobby was cute, big adirondack chairs, nice looking bar and restaurant. When we went to check in, we asked for a king bed and got upcharged $20. The room was ok, a bit on the small size. Again, all WHITE woodwork. Problem with white woodwork is you have to clean it or repaint it, looked pretty bad. My family came in later and asked for two queens, and were told they were sold out. So they moved up to a king bed, and they tried to upcharge them $50. Luckily we were standing there, told them ours was $20 and they had to honor it. Then they were also upcharged another $20 for a rollaway. Smallish room, theirs had no sunlight, a view of the interior fire escape. Odd. All in all, a nicely decorated but no kept up hotel. The upcharges will kill you, on top of the $40 parking charge. Take the train. We didn't eat in their restaurant as it was very expensive, ate next door in cute inexpensive place. The whole place felt very cramped. The staff was a bit snarky. Probably won't stay there again.
