I got the Super 8 Gas City / Marion Area in Indiana for $52 + tax ($65.28 total). Started with $45 for 2 stars...was denied immediately. Changed to $50 and added Warren, IN (since they only have 1 star accommodations)...was denied immediately again. Changed to $52 and added Bluffton, IN (since they only have 1 star accommodations)...it was accepted. I was disappointed that they don't include the 2 1/2 star Hampton Inn in their "Name Your Own Price" category, but you can book it outright. Also, the hotels in this area are extremely overpriced. You can get better accommodations for the same price in Indianapolis. I'd also like to point out that I'm only saving $11 compared to the cost on the Motel 8 website. Not really much of a deal!
Originally bid $45 & $51 on a 4 star Downtown Milwaukee. Both requests were denied. Won bid for $50 on a 3.5 star. Decided to go with a 3.5 star since the Hilton is currently the only known hotel in that category downtown. Hilton is actually rated higher on Trip Advisor than the 4 star hotel I thought I would get (Hyatt). And they have a great pool area! Thanks!
I ended up going with this: 3* Indianapolis (Keystone - Carmel) 4/8-4/9 $56 for 2 Adults Fitness Center, Pool, Restaurant It turned out to be Doubletree Hotels GS Indianapolis - Carmel 11355 North Meridian Street, Carmel, IN, 46032
