Do you know what this hotel is?
Alternatively, kind of wanting a hotel near south coast plaza, are you aware of any other hotels on hotwire secret rate offers that would fit the bill?
Thanks for your help on this. I decided not to go ahead with Hot.wire as the prices were not significant and the hotels not preferred. I had a look at your mapsandhotels website and ended up booking with my choice of hotel.

Just a further update - Hotwire refunded this booking following several email claims
Star rating discrepancies:
1. Hotwire Hilton Bentley Standard rate hotels 4.5 stars
2. Hotwire Hilton Bentley Vacation 4 stars
3. Expedia Hilton Bentley 4 stars
Hotwire response:
"For our Hot Rates, star ratings is taken from the Expedia's star ratings. As previously advised, we use customers' feedback to adjust the ratings accordingly. On the other hand, Standard Rate hotels star ratings are taken from the Expedia ratings alone. For this reason, it is possible to have observed different star ratings when you compare the ones booked under our Hot Rates list to the ones available from our Standard Rate hotels."

It does looks like it is vacation Hotwire listing 4 star for Hilton Bentley.
Expedia's website also lists 4 star for Hilton Bentley.
Hotwire's response to my brother's email does state "Hotwire starts with Expedia star ratings, and then adjusts each hotel based on our customer's feedback"

He is contesting it as there are Hotwire and Expedia pages that list it as a 4* hotel. Whereas he purchased a 4.5* secret hot rate hotel. Are you aware of the actual Hilton Bentley's star rating?
Hotwire's initial response:
"Thank you for contacting Hotwire Customer Care regarding your hotel reservation with the Miami South Beach Bentley Hilton in Florida, scheduled for check in on July 25, 2015, Hotwire itinerary. I understand you observed a different review and hotel star rating of the hotel from other site I would be willing to provide information regarding your concern. As I have checked your account, the hotel current star rating is four and half star. I understand you have observed a different star rating for the Miami South Beach Bentley Hilton in Florida than the star rating listed on the Hotwire site. While there is no standard star ratings system in the US, we work hard to offer clear and accurate star ratings. Hotwire starts with Expedia star ratings, and then adjusts each hotel based on our customer's feedback. This helps to ensure our star ratings reflect our customers’ recent experience. I can assure you Hotwire is confident the star rating for this hotel is accurate. I can assure you that we expect a quality experience and a clean room in working order from all our hotel partners. In fact, we regularly evaluate our suppliers to ensure they are providing our valuable customers the wonderful stay that they expect when booking through Hotwire. If you arrive to a hotel and the establishment does not meet your expectations, please do not hesitate to contact us at the number below so that we may work with our hotel partner to resolve the issue. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for all your travel needs; we hope to have the opportunity to better serve your travel needs in the near future."
Thank you
The Hotwire 4.5* Oceanfront Collins hotel $212 lists $21 resort fee
The James Royal Palm hotel website lists $244 and $30 resort fee.
Do you think hotwire's resort fee is outdated since the Starwood takeover or that this could be a different hotel not the James Royal Palm?
Can you help identify?

Can you tell me the amenity set for Sheraton LAX?
Last minute booking for tomorrow night.
Bid $150-$172 using re-bid zones, next bid of $174 accepted for the Mondrian. Saved 37%.
I declined the counter bid of $197 three times, figured the midway price was $170 but bids of $169 $170 $172 were not accepted.
The 4.5* Priceline express deal for west Hollywood was $184
Priceline retail for Mondrian $279.
Reporting for someone else. Bid 4* West Hollywood for Friday and Saturday nights.
Bid $160 and declined counter offer to increase bid to $206. Next bid $171, $177.
Got Le Montrose on the next bid $182 which was midway between the first bid and counter offer.
Can you please close this thread.
I'm not going to go ahead with bidding. I bid up to $265 on 4.5* and 5* with no success. I was thinking of bidding 4* but didn't want to risk getting the marriott as it was the lowest priced hotel and as bidding $200-225 was close to direct rates for the marriott. Rates are very heavily booked for this period so thought my chances bidding weren't looking very good. Decided to book direct the outrigger with a reasonable rate no resort fees and less then I had bid up to.
I followed up my Santa Monica thread.
I bid on 5* and 4.5* waikiki beach just to test it out up to $165 no success.
I am thinking of bidding 4* waikiki beach next. In your experience does the marriott get reported as a 4* WB win more often than the other hotels in the zone? Apparently waikiki is very popular this week and is about 70% reserved.

Changed my dates for a cheaper price and got the Westin Maui.
Ended up staying at the Shore hotel booked through Magellan hotels. They had a better last minute rate available and a policy that if the rate drops after you reserve with them, they will give you the cheaper rate.
1. Are you able to help give me an idea what price you think it would like take for a win in each waikiki zone below?
11/19/14-11/23/14
- 4.5* waikiki beach (PL retail $387-415 Sheraton, Westin)
- 4* waikiki beach (PL retail $260-541 Marriott, Outriggers, Hilton VIllage, Aston WB tower)
- 4* waikiki city central (PL retail $234-241 ? Hyatt, Hilton)
2. The name your own price side does list 4.5* waikiki beach zone, however, the PL retail list view doesn't seem to show 4.5* against hotel names (only 4*). Do you know if I have guessed the star rating correctly above, ie. which hotels are included in star rating and zones? Or does 4.5* no longer exist?
Thanks!
The Kaanapali condo $228 hotwire listing doesn't mention a resort fee, whereas it seems there is a resort fee for the honua kai?? Could this mean it may not be the Honua Kai?
The Kaanapali resort $227 and hotel $165 hotwire listings do mention a resort fee in their totals.
Thanks for your help.
Could you also help with the Priceline express deal? 4 nights 11/15-11/-19

Also, if bidding on Priceline for 4* Kaanapali Lahaina area is it likely to get any of : Kapalua Villas, Hyatt, Sheraton, Westin, Polynesian Shores, Kaanapali Ali (which shows as available in a 4* search)? If Kapalua villas is a possibility I would prefer not to bid as it appears further away from the whalers village central location.
