  1. Used the PRICELINE link and got it on my first try. Very surprised and pleased. :D
  2. Used the PRICELINE link, got this on the first try. Always conflicted when I do that. On one hand, I am glad to win and get it over with, on the other, I wish I started lower. Thanks!
  3. Used the PRICELINE link, got this after my first bid of $43 rejected... Also used $5/night deal bucks coupon. Crystal City, $43 + $5 deal bucks = $48... rejected Offered to increase to $63 for a room. Added Arlington, $46 + $5 deal bucks = $51... accepted. Unfortunately, I now realize I need a second room for this stay. So may have to pay full price for that one. Thanks for the forum's help!
  4. Hello, I was trying to get a 3* Atlanta Perimeter hotel. Usually I can win this with a bid from $33-42. For some reason, I had trouble with these dates and went up as high as $46/night. I had an offer of a free rebid for $57. I was tired of bidding for several days so I changed the star rating down to 2.5* and get the Comfort Suites for $41/night on the first bid. Wish I had gone lower to start. ;) Regardless, looks like a nice hotel. Good reviews overall, suite, free breakfast, parking and internet. I'm happy and looking forward to it.
  5. I bid $45 dollars for a 3.5 star hotel in Palm Beach Gardens. Rejected, offered a free rebid of $60. I added Jupiter and increased my price to $49. Good location, right next to where our event will be at. :)
  6. Hi, I had won this hotel on Priceline for $30 about 2 weeks ago. This was for my husband's business trip and he was very pleased. Clean, convenient, and has a mini-fridge and microwave in the room. Also a complementary hot breakfast. So, he wanted me to win this one again. Only took one try, $25 a night. Next time I may start the bidding even lower. :)
  7. Surprised, only needed to bid once. $33/night - Got 3* Atlanta (Perimeter) Hyatt Place. We've stayed in Atlanta four times in the Perimeter area now and got 4 different places through Priceline. I guess we may hit all of them by the end of the year at this rate. :) Thanks to your board for the help!
  8. Been trying to bid for several weeks, finally got accepted. I had a $5 off coupon for up to 4 nights. The conspiracy theorist in me feels like I had to bid higher with a coupon in order to get my bid accepted. (I had ~$33/night 3* Perimeter hotels twice before. I also saw the other post for $35/night 3* Perimeter). :) Thanks to those who showed me how to do free rebid. If my coupon didn't expire today, I probably would have just waited a few days, instead of rebidding so much. Anyways, Started w/ Perimeter: $33 + $5 coupon = $38 - rejected Added Stockbridge: $34 + $5 = $39 - rejected Added Morrow: $35 + $5 = $40 - rejected Added Jonesboro: $36 + $5 = $41 - rejected Added Forrest Park: $37 +$5 = $42 - Accepted. Courtyard by Marriott Perimeter Center. Pictures look good. Looking forward to the trip. :)
  9. Hi, which rebid zone did you use? Thanks for the help!
  10. Atlanta Holiday Inn Select (Perimeter) for $33/night - 3/25-3/28. Picked the area because there are no parking fees. Hotel was okay, they gave us a room with 2 double beds automatically. Easy access to highway. Was a bit disappointed that there was no mini-fridge because we need it for our baby's milk. I think the other 3* hotels have them. Overall, still a good deal. :) Love the forum. Very helpful. Used the PRICELINE link from the forum.
