  1. Thanks again for your assistance! Bid $28 rejected Bid $35 with one rebid zone rejected Bid $40 with two rebid zones accepted Hyatt Regency Orange County ( Disneyland) 02/13 to 02/15/05 $2 x $40 =$80.00 + $17.38 = $97.38
  2. Thank you for the interesting thread and for your advice which I will follow. Our dates are 02/13/05-02/15/05 and after reviewing other accepted bids, I would put a maimum of $40 for a 3*.
  3. Reviewing past bidding for Disneyland would indicate that the Hyatt is accepting more bids and at lower prices than the Marriott, Coast, Hilton, and Radisson. This maybe a dumb question, but does bidding higher than those bids accepted by the Hyatt have a chance to be taken up one of the closer and better hotels? This is a great site and I have already got some SPECTACULAR deals on Priceline!
  4. First bid $60 rejected and offered a rebid at $17 more. Declined and waited 72 Hrs. and bid $68 accepted. $68.00 + $17.22 = $85.22
  5. Bid $50.00 x3 = $150 plus fees and tax $25.52= $175.52 Ist Bid!!
  6. Embassy Suites 1075 California Blvd. $67.00 x2= $134.00 taxes and fees $2416 =$ 158.16 First bid!
  7. We are staying in Vegas from March 7 to March 15 and ran into the Nascar problem as well. so here is our itinerary: March 7,8,9 at Sams Town ( we love this hotel) $44.99 Mon. and Tues., $64.99 Wed., Thursday, March 10 at the Golden Nugget ( to see the light show) $99 and to escape the crazy weekend at the Hacienda in Boulder City on March 11 and 12 at $59. Then to wind it up and to make my wife happy about moving hotels, at the JW Marriot resort for March 13 qnd 14 at $239 a night
  8. I just bid $75 for a Scottsdale resort for March 2 to March 4 2005 and Priceline returned my bid and said to add $22 When I tried to add only $4 to $79 they would not accept and kept telling me to add the $22. If this was any resort other than the Scottsdale Plaza , I would go for it but I haven't heard anything good about this resort. Looking for advice please.
  9. Sorry, bad day! you asked for dates: March 2 checkin, March 7 checkout. Terry
  10. Hotwire says this is a 4* "best value" with restaurant(s), pool(s), fitness center, spa, high speed internet access, tennis nearby, business center and self service laundry. Sure hope you can help! Thanks. Terry
  11. Making reservations for next March and Hotwire has a 4 star " Best Value" at $86. Any idea as to which hotel this might be? Someone was able to get the 4.5*Westin for $87 recently on Hotwire but this does not sound like the same hotel. Also the " Phoenix North" does not show any 3* like the Embassy Suites. Could this all be because I am too far early for next March?
  12. We just returned from staying in Niagara Falls Canada and had a beautiful room ( we were upgraded) at the Marriott Renasiance for $39 U.S. from Priceline. Take a look at www.tripadvisor and you will see that this hotel is the second highest rated with some very good comments.
  13. We just returned from Miami beach and stayed at the Marriott South beach resort for three nights at $89. Nothing is too far away in Miami as we were only 25 minutes from the airport at a cost of $27 for the taxi. We also stayed at the airport Hilton for $59 on our way home from Aruba last Sat. night.
  14. I hope you receive replies as we are going to Aruba in November and after reading all the reviews on Fodors finally picked the Marriott but have had to book at $161 a night. It is cancelable so hope I can use Priceline. Hesitate to do this now because I don't want to end up in the Reniasance Hotel (spl.)
