  15. Hi! It's our first visit to San Francisco with our 5 month old son for a very short visit. Would love to know the best area hotel to stay with price range of 75-$100 with nice views from room with transportation nearby - trolley or BART maybe? It will be COLD so probably won't be able to walk much. Thought about Exploratorium with the baby for a few hours one day, restaurants within close walking distance and Christmas lights and decos close by and would like to take trolley and see Union Square/Nob Hill area is what I'm told to do, but no clue really. Any suggestions sincerely appreciated!
  16. Thanks. I ended up staying home! Maybe next time. :)
  17. Well I hope you had a great time! Curious to hear your hotel review.
  18. :) Thanks nd88. I'll let you know if I find out any more on this and please do the same for me. Do you think you will go ahead and get it anyway? I have a couple extra days left compared to you. So sorry about my hanging posts, Thereuare! I just did updated posts for both. However, please know that I did report my Hyatt Jersey City stay with on Hotwire forum when I purchased that way back when. Thanks for all you do. Thanks for limo info you e-mailed me too for Newark Airport. :)
  19. Thanks. Right now as a backup plan I have a reservation with a special I found at travelzoo.com for $169 for the Affina Manhattan, but if I decide to bid last minute in the next week or two, I'll be sure to let ya'll know as I have up until 24 hours before to cancel my current reservation. The Affina is supposed to be a pretty nice hotel as tripadvisor.com rates it in the top 10.
  20. Update: Well, I never did go stay anywhere to any beach :) , but if I do find a deal, I'll be sure to let ya'll know.

  22. :) Woo hoo! Got it! Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson Fri., March 24 - Sun., March 26 2 nights ($76 per night) $152.00 Taxes & Fees $27.21 Total Cost $179.21 Yea! This is a really nice hotel. Now, the rate isn't as good as $47 last year on Priceline, but better than anything else around and as close to NYC as I can get without spending lots of $$$$. I'll save that for the shows and food! I tried Priceline first today at $47, then re-bid at $52. I didn't want to go higher and take a chance with Doubletree, so I figure this is a safer bet, plus I have that $10 Entertainment Book rebate, so it's all good! Regular going rate at the Hyatt is $179, so basically got two nights for the price of one. Thank you Better Bidding! Oops! Correction - Sorry, it's a 4* not 3*
  23. I could have sworn I put one post for NYC in the NYC folder and then a few minutes later one for New Jesery in the New Jersey folder - all with appropriate dates - that are indeed different. I usually try to avoid confusion when at all possible. They are for different dates. Therefore, I want to stay in both NYC and New Jersey. New Jersey is for 3/24-3/26 (I'm paying this myself) NYC is for 3/26-3/29 - This is the one I'm asking about strategy help for Grand Hyatt (My company is paying as I'm there on business but need it under $120 or I'll have to stay in Hyatt my full trip there) So, yes, looking for help with booking under $120 for Grand Hyatt 3/26-3/29 under NYC and 3/24-3/26 help with Hyatt New Jersey. Thank you!
  24. Hi! Since I can't afford NYC, I really want to stay at the Hyatt Jersey City where I stayed last year early March (it was a GREAT hotel - especially at $47), but I haven't seen any recent winning posts on this one and now there's also Doubletree at 3* now too (don't think there was concern about that last year) - but I don't want that one as it doesn't sound nearly as nice or convenient. Think I'll have any luck with this one? What chance is there that I could get Doubletree? Should I play it safe and go through Hotwire since that one is shown as 4* and more of a safe bet? Any suggestions appreciated!
