I will try a few more times but I figure the $219 Venetian package has other incentives for $50 slot credit, free breakfast, etc.. and it's cancellable 3 days prior. South zone is too risky for me b/c I don't like Vdara (no casino and bad service... according to tripadvisor reviews). I will let the forum know what I end up. Thank you for your time.

I used the recommended steps below (the last time, I started at $120, then go up to $125 by adding Near East Strip... and got rejected right away... It didn't let me re-bid...

If I bid for South Strip but also want to include North Strip, what are the order of my bidding steps? I noticed PRICELINE has declined my offer on two separate occasions right at the first rebidding zone step. It seems like their algorithm has detected that I am using rebidding zones to get myself in the game.

During our search, however, we did find special priceline rates available for your travel dates at the hotels shown below. Does it mean Priceline does not even want to deal with me? What should I do? try again or reconsider South strip?

Thanks for pointing it out, I was thinking the same thing after looking at their dates. I would rather be in the North strip (either Palazzo, Wynn, Encore, or Venetian).

I wish that I knew about this forum before I put in my HOTWIRE bid. I got the New Yorker in MSG for $184 per room for 2 rooms with 4 adults/4 children. Since we have 4 people in a room, I couldn't really use PRICELINE. I checked back today and the rate went up to $229 for those dates. Should I wait until a few days before my travel dates or this is about right time to book for first week of April. I will certainly use betterbidding the next time I book.
