  1. This might not be the best post, but it is better than nothing. I originally was bidding for the dates 4/17-4/20 and bid for Beverly hills from $90-$130. I then remembered that 4/17 was generally more expensive than the others so I rebid with just 4/18-4/20 and bid $120 and was instantly accepted. Rate on the hotel's website was $289 per night. I'm very pleased. Now I need to find out what I'm doing the first night.
  2. First bid accepted of $61 for 4* Frankfurt West for 4/13/07. Subtotal: US$61.00 Taxes & Service Fees: US$17.78 Total Charges: US$78.78
  3. I just bid on a 4* 04/07/07 - 04/09/07 $120. This was in the City Centre/museum. It was accepted and is the Marriott. Total cost for 2 nights was $266.08 (after fees/taxes). compared to $375 on their website (which is a pretty good deal too). It's even higher on Expedia. A lot of places are sold out these days for some reason.
  4. Thanks for the advise. I noticed that the 3* on hotwire was 58 bucks for oct 20-22, 2006. So I bid $48 on priceline and it was accepted. Grand total for 2 nights was $119.92 at the Radisson Downtown. Your Offer Price: $48.00 Extend Your Stay Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 Subtotal: $96.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $23.92 Total 119.92
  5. I just successfully booked The Westin Crown Center in KC for $93 per night. It was a 4* Downtown-Crown Center Hotel. The information was the same as a previous post. Ammenities include: Restaurant(s) Pool(s) Fitness Center Spa Services Business Center
  6. I know it is extremely early to bid, but I did anyways. I was bidding on a 5* in Vegas for May 17-21. I started with $100 and bid up to $205. I was rejected everytime. The thing that I found funny, is that they offered me a room for $274 through lowestfares.com. This price quote is more than the venetian website of $259. I was thinking the price they offer you is traditionally lower than the website? I think I'm going to book a cancellable backup and rebid closer to departure time. What sites are cancellable besides Venetian.com. Aren't most of the 3rd party websites non-refundable? Thank You.
  7. This is the same dilemma I'm wanting to know about. We are going to squeeze 5 people in one room, so the two queen beds is pretty mandatory. I want to make sure I get 2 queens, also.
