Looking for help clarifying a 3-star Hotel listed on HW as: 35%off Metro Center - Phoenix North - Deer Valley area all-suites hotel 95% recommended *** Full amenities from bidding helper Howire Easyview appears to list: FULL AMENITIES: Free breakfast, Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Business center, Internet access, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking Strangely, it lists it as a boutique hotel, not an all-suites hotel. So maybe it is different from the hotel listed in the standard HW list. We really want a hotel in the deer valley and the price and description appears to match the deer valley/happy valley Residence Inn. I am not sure if RI properties are listed as all Suites Other possible hotels in the zone are Hyatt Place (would be OK), Residence Inn near MetroCenter (would be OK), Embassy Suite near MetroCenter (not OK, getting bad review recently and I would not be happy with this property.)

I want to post a "win", but I cannot remember which zone the condo is in: Holiday Inn Club Vacations - ORLANDO - ORANGE LAKE RESORT. Can you help or how would I find it from my winning email. I think it was maingate west.

Since i could not narrow down any property I was hoping for on HW, I have been spending some time bidding PL (of course, using the BB link) with no luck. I am quite certain I could have gotten the Renaissance Orlando Resort for around $75-$80, but that hotel seems to be getting tired and it comes with one of the heftiest parking/resort fees of around $40/night. I am seeing $152 for my dates on I-drive in PL's retail area. I would buy it for $98. Are you confusing this with the HGV Seaworld property, which is listing at $98?

I take it that you do sometimes see the HGV property, but it is not matching either of these amenity sets? When it does come up, is the HGV a three or four star? I most often use PL. Are condos in any way distinguished in PL for bidding or Express Deals?

I searched again just now and got only the first two condos, $95 and $81. We previously stayed at HGV and really liked it, (size, layout, balcony and pools). We would entertain other properties with similar characteristics. I would like to use HW to purchase HGV on I-Drive. Current non-opaue rates are around $150/night for my dates: 11/13-11/17. LBV-DT Disney is the HW zone that covers the HGV I-Drive location. For my dates when I search that zone, three condo properties appear 1) 4-star $95/night 85% with Amenities Free parking Free Internet Resort 2-bedroom suite Full kitchen Laundry in room Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) 2) 3-star $81/night 100% with Amenities Free parking 2-bedroom suite Full kitchen Smoke-free rooms Air conditioning Laundry in room Pool(s) Front desk Self-service laundry 3) 3-star $86 no rating with Amenities that include free breakfast, so that rules out HGV. I posted this on the Hotwire forum, but I would be perfectly happy to get it via either PL avenue if that would be easier. Previously one needed to do weird amenitiy listing technique to get all of the amenities. I looked in the FAQ for something on that, but did not find anything. If I have not listed them correctly, I can revise this post. Thanks for your help.

Ended up winning the 5* Vdara on PL for $66/nite for 7/16-7/19. Started at $61, free rebid to $66 for the win.

I need a room for three nights, midweek, from July 16, 17 and 18. For my dates, Hotwire currently lists three 5* hotels one in Strip North $81 (extremely likely Trump) and two in Strip South, one at $81 and one at $83. One of the south's is likely Vdara. Any ideas on the what the other would likely be. The attributes are identical, is there anyway to determine what the other is for sure and which is which? Also, if bidding for these on PL, when would one expect a hit for either of these zones of 5*, given that HW is at the low 80's? Finally, I have no experience with Vegas or 5* hotels. Location does not matter to us, since we will not be spending much time on the strip and will have a car. Would you choose the Trump at $81 on HW or by bid on PL over gambling on another 5* in the Strip Vic. South, such as Vdara, Aria or Cosmo? Thanks for your comments.

This 4* resort came up for March 22-24 and other dates during that week for $69. I checked the amenities against your hotel lists and nothing matched exactly, so I would appreciate your help: Resort Beachfront Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Tennis Nearby Children's Activity Program Since I don't think I have a preference toward any of the 4* resorts on HH, I may give PRICELINE a try, first, anticipating that this hotel would be the first hit for PRICELINE also. I have never used HOTWIRE before (PRICELINE many, many times), can I expect to see a resort fee added to this $69 price when we get there? Thanks.
