  1. I wanted to average $100/night, which I'm under right now. I guess I would go up to $120/night at a 4-star or better to to not have to change properties during my stay.
  2. Sorry for the late follow-up, but I wound up staying at the Venetian. You can't beat the Venetian for a $100. Thanks for your suggestions.
  3. Hi all, At the present time, I have the the Imperial Palace booked for Saturday (Oct. 29) at $142 for a deluxe room. I have also booked the Aladdin for Sunday (Oct. 30) and Monday (Oct. 31) at $59/night. I would prefer to stay in the same hotel all three nights, but the Aladdin is over $260 for Saturday. Are there any better deals out there for Saturday? Would it be worth it to bid on a room for that night. I am open to all suggestions, even to switching from the Aladdin if I can get a better deal somewhere else for all three nights. Thanks for your help.
  4. Hi, I need a room in Vegas on Oct. 2 (Sunday) for one night. There seems to be some deals out there. What would be the best bang for the buck? I am willing to go up to $100 and I've stayed at the Venetian before. Here are some of my options. Venetian - $100 Paris - $99 Aladdin - $59 What do you guys think? I'd appreciate your help.
  5. I just found a good deal for the Aladdin @ $120/night through this website. link Would it be worth it to book this? In other words, is it worth spending a little extra to stay here as opposed to Barbary or Imperial? Also, they have a cancellation fee of $30 plus a 5% handling fee. What do you guys think?
  6. In order for me to book any of the hotels previously listed, I would have to book through a third party (e.g., Expedia), which charges a cancellation fee. Where may I book a fully refundable room, so that I may keep monitoring rates? I've checked the hotel websites, but they either are sold out or are not offering the cheapest rates. There's a convention in town that week (National Association of Broadcasters) and I've gone to their website (nab.org). It seems as though you could book a room through the association even if you're not a member. The rates are a lot cheaper. First, has anyone done this before? And, what do you think of their rates? You can go on their site and check out what's available or I can just post them here. Let me know.
  7. There are good deals downtown, but we would rather stay on the strip. Based on location and price, there are three hotels that fit my criteria. Casino Royale - $60/night Imperial Palace - $80/night Barbary Coast - $90/night Does anyone have an opinion on which hotel is best? I appreciate all your help.
  8. I booked this on 1/22. I went from $95 - $99. I've stayed at the Venetian before and it truly is a beautiful hotel. However, the smell in the casino needs to be improved.
  9. I started at $75 and went up in $5 increments. Finally landed it at $99.
  10. Hello all, I've been a frequent visitor to this site for the past couple of months. I find this site to be extremely helpful as I have used the suggestions to book the Venetian back on 12/11-12/13 (of 2004) for $99. I will be going out west again (I live in the Midwest), but this time to a conference in Los Angeles. I am traveling with two colleagues and we decided to extend our trip to include Las Vegas. We will be flying into Vegas on 4/13/05 and I pricelined the Venetian for $99 that night. We will be driving to Los Angeles (have driven this route before and it's very beautiful) on the 14th and we will be returning to LV on the 17th for 3 nights (originally two). I originally booked the Barbary Coast (through their website) for $70/night for two nights. However, we extended our trip a night. Then I found a killer deal on Orbitz for a player
