  1. Was actually going for airport zone for free parking and easy interstate access, adding a zone at a time to increase my bids by $1 increments. I'm shocked to get this property for this price, but hey, I'll take it! Have stayed here before without Priceline for much higher rate. Of course, I used the PRICELINE link here as always!
  2. Although this Four Points Sheraton is looking a little tired, it totally serves my purposes. oom Cost (avg. per room, per night): $45.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $45.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $14.29 (USD) Total Room Cost: $59.29 (USD)
  3. Took me a couple of tries, starting at $40, accepted at $45. I've stayed here quite a few times, and it serves my purposes of a night or two every once in a while just fine. Used the PRICELINE link here to bid.
  4. Bid Airport 3.5* $45, not accepted. Added 3* for $45 and accepted at Hilton Garden Inn. Used PRICELINE link here as always. :)
  5. I decided I didn't want the added expense of valet parking at any of the three as I am needing lots of in/out this stay. Instead I used the PRICELINE link for a hotel in the airport area in order to have free parking. I bid $45 for a 3*; it was accepted by the Doubletree. I am pumped as Doubletree recently purchased the Radisson where I really like to stay. I'm ready to see if they made any improvements/changes as the Radisson was quite good as it was. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and keeping up this board! :)
  6. I ended up not getting a room for that request, but I have gone back and noted that as you asked. Thanks for your help!
  7. Please help me identify these three choices for 07/14, one night, New Orleans. I figure the 4.5 star is Le Pavillon as it has their amenities, but the Hotwire listing offers something I've never seen before - choose your own bed configuration on the next page. So does anybody have experience with that new twist and if so, is that for sure Le Pavillon? DT 4.5* - $74 Amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business DT 4* - $69 Amenities: Smoke-free rooms, fitness, pool, restaurant, business, internet Convention Center 4* - $67 Amenities: Fitness, Restaurant, Internet (none of the hotels on BB list only 3 amenities. Anyone know?) I will be using the HOTWIRE link here and will report back after purchase. Merci!
  8. 02/18 - $107 Amenities: Smoke Free Restaurant Pool Fitness Hi-Speed Internet Business The only smoke-free 4* I see on the list is the Westin. Is that a pretty sure thing? Thanks!
  9. Four Points seems to be the 3* for this price as of late. I've stayed here several times and have been very satisfied. Used the PRICELINE link here as always!
  10. I've stayed at this property before and had excellent experiences. As a local, I know hotels are packed solid for Jazzfest, so I was shocked to score this for $95.
  11. I started at $70 and bid up in increments of $5. Accepted for $95 for Riverside Hilton for the 24th. Great deal for me since I was getting a room for my son to celebrate his 21st birthday at Harrah's Casino right across the street!
  12. Being the first weekend of Jazzfest, the cheapest I could do on Hotwire was $122 so I decided to give everybody's favorite price chopper William Shatner a whirl over at Priceline. He came thru for me at Four Points by Sheraton for $85 for two rooms. :) I've stayed at this location before and was very satisfied and for this particular weekend, $85 is a good deal. I have gotten it in the past on off weekends for as low as $50 which was a real steal. Used PRICELINE link here for bidding.
  13. For 23-25 April, airport hotel with these amenities: As someone who lives in the burbs, the hotel list pinned here plus the golf is throwing me. I have never used HOTWIRE for an airport hotel before, so not sure what this might be. With PRICELINE I usually get Radisson or Hilton. Thanks in advance. 14. I wish I had seen this post before you left. I do hope you will come back and post what you chose.
  15. My confirmed Hotwire hotel with a big thanks to Yellowdog for guiding a first-time HOTWIRE user. I'm a very happy camper! 16. Thanks for the welcome and the advice. I'm terrified to purchase an unknown hotel in DC just bc I love knowing my proximity to a metro station since that is very important to me. But - I just need to save some cash this trip so I'm having to branch out!
  17. This is my first time using Hotwire so I'm as green as the grass.. :) The hotel list on this site shows only one 3* with amenities of suite AND boutique - that is the Carlyle. Hotwire is showing this as $129 per night for 3/17-21. Can I be as sure as one can possibly be that this offering is indeed the Carlyle? I will happily use the HOTWIRE link here. Thanks for your speedy reply. Suite Boutique Hotel Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities High-speed Internet Access Kitchenette
