I clicked on both links. Priceline is the lowest at $18 per day. I am just curious relative to the likely price as the arrival date gets closer. If the tendency is for the price to get lower the closer I get to the arrival date, maybe I should be bidding lower. I'm merely attempting to pick a few experienced brains.

I will need a rental car in Las Vegas for the week of 12/28/12-1/4/13. I am currently bidding $15 per day for an economy car but being rejected. Is the price likely to go up or get lower the closer I am to the arrival date?

After trying every day for a week or so, my bid was accepted tonight for $13 per day for a mid size car to be picked up at OGG. This is a 10 day rental and the total with taxes came to $209.82. I was surprised. My guess is that prices might even go lower, but I am still satisfied.
