  1. Update: Sorry for the delay but I tried the bidding strategy above without any success twice. Thanks
  2. OH Thanks for the info - didn't realize that. The dates are June 11 - 14th. Thanks again :)
  3. Greetings, Would this be an appropriate bidding strategy for a four star hotel in downtown st. peterburg. The rate per night for a four star is 188.00 for the dates of travel. I'm willing to bid up to 130.00 per night. Zone 8 75.00, add Zone 1 80.00 zone 2 90.00 zone 3 100.00 zone 4 110.00 zone 5 120.00 zone 6 130.00 Zone 7 has a four star on the beach - so I assume I can't use that zone. Thanks for your help. :)
  4. Hello, I would like to stay at the Renaissance Vinoy in downtown St. Pete on 12.23 for one night. The current rate is $208.00 per night. Does anyone know if this is the only 4star in the st. pete category? Any bidding suggestions? As always, I'll start with savings barn to bid. Thanks for your help. :)
  5. Hello, I've tried twice the past week and increased my bid to 130.00 with no success. Will continue trying and update. Thanks
  6. Thanks for your response. Sorry for not providing the information. The maximum I'd like to pay is $125.00 per night. Thanks
  7. Hello, Any tips on bidding for a 5 star hotel in Vegas on the strip (hoping for the Venetian). The current rate on their website is 209 for the smallest room. Thanks so much. :)
  8. Hello, I just got Renaissance Asheville One Thomas Wolfe Plaza - 2 rooms for May 19 - 22 for 58.00 per night. I followed your suggested bid - $48.00 then added a zone $51.00 then added a zone $58.00 Yeah thanks for your help! Laochen
  9. I checked the rates for the Crowne Plaza - about 115.00 per night and the Renaissance is approximately $200.00 - So my max would be 100.00. Thanks
  10. Oh sorry for the lack of response. Just added the information. Thanks again,
  11. Sorry for the delay, All the suggestions were tried with no luck. We had a backup at the Wingate Midtown - (new hotel) which was 180.00 per night. Good location for shopping. a bit far from Broadway. Thanks
  12. Greetings, Would you suggest a bidding strategy for 3 star Hotels in Asheville, NC for 5/19/07 - 5/22/07. Thanks so much, :)
  13. Thanks for your response - I'd prefer to stay in midtown over downtown and yes I will pay more for a midtown and a 3 or 4 star is fine - Thanks
  14. Hello, I would appreciate bidding suggestions for hotels in Manhattan from 10/11 - 10/14 - Any area is ok - and the max bid is $175.00 Also, suggestions on backup hotel! Thanks! :)
  15. Hello - One question about easy click travel - They charged my credit card for the reservation but the agreement says I can cancel 3 days before check - in. Has anyone experienced any problems with cancelation? TX
  16. I was rejected on all bids - I'll wait 72 hours to try again. (I used Savings Barn) However, I am reserving a 1 bedroom suite at the Beekman through the website you provided - Although the website will not allow me to book for 4 people - I confirmed online that 4 people are allowed to stay in one room. Keep you posted. Again thanks for you help.
  17. Sorry - the strategy is not clear to me. I checked priceline and MTE includes 1-5 * hotels MTW and UM/CPS both include 1-4* hotels - Soho Downtown - 1-4* Midtown South 1-4* Upper East Side 1-3* Upper West side 1-2.5* So that being the case - if I selected 4* and bid $160.00 and rejected- I could add zone Upper East Side (b/c no 4* star hotel available) and if rejected add Upper West Side (b/c no 4* available) - Do I have it yet!
  18. Just want to make sure I'm doing this right - MTE has 5 star, MTW and UP 4 stars. If I start at at MTE for $160 and rejected, I should then rebid for $170 and add zone MTW, if rejected bid $180.00 and add zone UM/CPS. Is this correct? Question is it worth beginning the bid at $160.00 MTE for 5 star and add zones since MTW and UM/CPS do not offer 5 stars? Thanks
  19. Thanks so much. I just tried to book the Beekman, however there are 4 of us traveling and they won't a reservation for 1 Bedroom for 4 people. I requested 2 rooms and the price is $240.00 per night - (unless I'm reading it wrong). I currently have a reservation at the Benjamin - I'll let you know if I'm successful. Thanks again.
  20. Thanks. Yes I have a backup reservation for $269.00 per night. So, $250.00 would be the maximum :)
