Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could help me identify a hotel in downtown Washington DC, details are : - 3.5* - 90% recommended (60 reviews) - Facilities are Free internet, Fitness Centre, restaurant, Business centre - Tripadvisor 4 / 5 with 500+ reviews Based on the wins, it looks like it will be the Hamilton Crowne Plaza but as Crowne charges for internet and has 800+ reviews on hotwire it threw me a little. Any advice / thoughts greatly appreciated.

Amenities : Pet friendly Indoor pool(s) Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Spa Services Was not listed in the BB list of hotels so took a punt but is a great deal. Turns out to be £164 per night Vs their website at £320. Very happy.

HI all, back to Hotwire again and it comes up with a hotel in Minneapolis downtown I have not seen before. Star rating : 4 stars Location : Downtown General facilities : Pet Friendly, Indoor Pool (s), Smoke Free rooms, Fitness Centre, Restaurant(s), Business Centre, High speed internet access Pet friendly Indoor pool(s) Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Tennis Nearby Accessible for the blind Its the Pet Friendly bit that is throwing me as I can not see that on the list of hotels under that section of this forum. I think it might be the Hyatt as it has "Tennis nearby" which is normally a giveaway for the Hyatt. Any help appreciated..

I had originally seen what I believed to be the W hotel for about $100 a night but that was not avaliable. This is what I got : Rate per night : $86 Nights : 5 Rooms : 1 Tax recovery charges & fees: $71.43 Total : $501.43 Hotel : Radisson Plaza Downtown. Amenities: Restaurant, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf Very happy as I have stayed here before and like the hotel.

Now for the second, and I think interesting question. If I book for 6 nights (which I need) it comes up as $656 but if I book for 7 night (one more than I need) then I get it for $606....Really strange. So, are there any Hotwire conditions that anyone knows about in regards to penalties for checking out early? I have read a few very old posts in the web that says that there can be penalties for checking out early, people have said to just leave and then call them to check out but I would prefer to know what the actual conditions are. Does anyone know what the actual conditions are of the booking in terms of checking out early? Thanks for any advice.

Hi, I booked for 22nd Jan to 27th Jan 4* Minneapolis down town for $69 and got the Radisson Plaza. Amenities : Smoke Free Rooms,Fitness Center,Restaurant(s),Business Center,High-speed Internet Access,Golf Nearby. Very happy with the result as its close to the office and centre of town (required for winter in MSP). Regards.

12th to 16th June, $74 per night, Hyatt Regency Amenities : Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High speed internet access Tennis Nearby Not too happy about this as you could normally tell it was the Hyatt by all these plus Pool but it seems they have removed this pool to get people in. Hey its not a bad hotel, just right over the other side compared to where I will be working
