Going to conference that is being held at The Hyatt Lodge, McDonald's Campus in Oakbrook, conference rate at that hotel is $129 Using the PRICELINE link from this site, I used the following strategy Oak Brook/Downer's Grove *4 bid $55 Rejected added Alonquin (zone with 2 *) bid $65 Rejected added Boling Brook (zone with 2 1/2*) bid $75 Rejected changed star rating to 3* bid $56 and won the Doubletree which is 2 1/2 miles from The Hyatt Lodge. Just checked their website and rooms were $160. Very happy with this hotel and price.

Decided not to stay there. We were on a driving trip, and the person I was with did not want to get a hotel beforehand. They wanted to drive as long as we could. We ended up stopping at some dumpy hotel on 35W (sorry, can't remember the town) and paid too much, I think around $80-$90.

Yes, It is the Hilton New York in MTW zone. I first put in a bid of $100 about 6 days ago and it was not accepted. I put in the $102 bid for 4* and MTW zone last night and it was accepted.

I just got the Hilton for $102 for Fri and Sat nite , Jan 21&22. I'm happy!
