Nevermind. I ended up with Ayres Hotel Orange.
3.5* with 100% recommended for $85/night. Very happy right now.
3* Anaheim - Disney Maingate South
$117
FULL AMENITIES: Free parking, Free Internet, Boutique hotel, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Self-service laundry, Internet access
I need 2 nights. 2 adults and 2 kids. Prefer free parking so I don't get hit with high resort fees.
I will be traveling between Anaheim (drop by Downtown Disney at night), Garden Grove area and Irvine so anything in between or near by is fine.
I saw a 2* hotel in Downtown Buena Park area all-suites hotel for $90 ($117 regular).

Complimentary: free breakfast, free internet, free parking
Amenities: pool(s), self-service laundry

It doesn't look like much saving from the original price. What is this hotel? Can I do better? Thanks.
Thanks. I hope it's better than Quality Inn near Long Beach Airport with a rating of 3.7 out of 5 and 71% of guests recommended. It turned out to be the same price with 3 days parking fee at Best Western and if I were to book the park and cruise package directly with Quality Inn. I'm hoping for a clean, comfortable room. :)

Yes. It's the Extended Stay America - Orange County - Cypress at 5990 Corporate Ave. Unfortunately, they are not reducing the "upgrade" fee. This is already the second time I'm charged for changing room type with priceline/hotwire within the last 30 days. I've never been charged for changing room type with priceline before, and I've used priceline for years. Not liking this trend.
Extended Stay America wants $15 to change to a room with 2 beds. Sigh. Is this a common practice now for lower starred hotel?

Original plan got changed last minute.
There was also a $52 2* room in Anaheim - Disneyland North area hotel. Amenities are free parking, free breakfast, free internet, pet friendly, suite, laundry facilities (self-service), high-speed internet access and kitchenette. 4 out of 5 on Tripadvisor but only 65% on Hotwire. It said the last person got Quality Inn & Suites Anaheim Resort. However, I had a feeling it would have been the Extended Stay America Hotel Orange County - Anaheim Convention Center. What do you think?

Thank you so much for your help. I bid up to $64 and failed. Hotwire price for the 4* hotel went up to $66. The 2.5* Priceline Express went down to $75. I got a coupon for 10% off. I went with the 2.5* hotel and got Quality Suites John Wayne Airport.
It doesn't really matter which hotel as long as it's clean. I do prefer one with free internet. I'm looking at total price, but I don't know for sure if the other hotel has free parking or not. :)Assuming the HOTWIRE property is the Hilton, how much to you like this property vs. the other possibilities in the zone... if you like the Hilton then you would have a larger gap between your maximum bid and this $64/nite rate... if you don't like the Hilton then you would likely bid up to $63/nite in hopes of landing a different 3.5* hotel in the zone.
Yes. Same dates. I only see one 2.5* hotel in the priceline list. I forgot that there might be new hotels. Is this for 8/30-9/1 and is that the full list of amenities associated with this hotel offer as i'm seeing more amenities for the 2.5* hotel when i search for these dates.
Coffee, wifi, swimming, parking, shuttle, printer, and gym.
Hotwire has a 4* hotel in the Costa Mesa - Orange County Airport - Irvine area for $64. This hotel is mostly to be Hilton ? (pet friendly, airport shuttle, fitness center, pool(s), restaurant(s), business center, high-speed internet access, golf nearby, tennis nearby, in-room accessibility, and wheelchair accessible) with a parking fee of $18/night. I don't really care if I stay in the Garden Grove area or the Irvine area since I have to be at both places. How much should I bid up to for a 3.5* hotel before I should go with the Hotwire hotel?
Dates change.
8/30-9/1 in Orange County
9/1-9/2 in San Diego
In Irvine - Santa Ana, Priceline Express for a 2.5* with a guest rating of 8.0 (free parking and internet) for $77 before 10% off. La Quinta? I'm not sure if this is a better value than going with a higher star rating hotel and chance the parking fee.

This is via PRICELINE EXPRESS before 10% off coupon. Bid up to $33 for this area and lost.
I could have gotten a 4* hotel in the near strip east area for $31 before the 10% off coupon, but I didn't want PRICELINE to assign me to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with a king bed that will cost me another $20 to change to 2 beds.
I took a picture of the list of hotels and prices so I don't think the list is complete. Breakfast, wifi, pool, parking, and pet. Only 1 2.5* on the priceline list so I was expecting this hotel.
Friendly staff, clean & comfortable room, good coffee, and nice free breakfast. Roll away bed is free. Totally recommending this place.
Thanks. The hotel was pretty nice. There was a free bottle of water, too.
I'm really hoping the place will be okay. They want $15 + tax to switch to two beds, nonsmoking room. They automatically book hotwire & priceline reservations a smoking room with a king bed and consider accomodation an upgrade. I could have gone with a 2.5* hotel, express deal, at a similar price. :(
It would have been cheaper for me to book directly with the hotel. Sigh.
Failed up to $45 for all 3 zones. Went with Express Deal since I had no more zones to bid.
Went through betterbidding via cell phone.
This trip is still on. However, I'm on another trip so I haven't booked a hotel for this trip yet. Will keep you updated.
Failed for 2.5* at $45.
Used the PRICELINE link. Not sure if I signed in though.
I've been using the links to search.
Date: 8/30 to 9/2
I've bid up to $59 without success. I'll try again later unless the Express Deals are good.

Thanks. I was quite happy with the hotel, especially when it's right in the middle of the locations I need to visit and the price was $169/night + taxes/fees for the same dates.
