  1. Just scored the Thistle Hyde Park for 120 bucks, which is OK. I tried to book through the webpage, but for whatever reason Pricline did not accept my credit card (German) and on the website you can not pay by PayPal (for whatever reason). Tried the app and it worked by paying through PayPal - but in that case the promo code does not work... Anybody had that topic before? Thanks!
  2. Used the PRICELINE link. Started with USD 65 (FQ and CC zones) - had to try several days up to USD 105.
  3. Hi, have not been there yet, will be there in May. I did bid for Resort. Best regards!
  4. Tried serval times starting with 70$ - got the 90$ deal including 5$ bonus cash. The hotel seems to be brand new, so I hope it will be a nice property! Used the PRICELINE link
  5. Used 5$ bonus cash, so I ended up paying 75$, which seems to be a good deal! Used the PRICELINE link.
  6. Tried 3.5 Stars in Palm Beach Gardens up to 70 bucks, but could not get anything. Got the Courtyard for 55 - looks like a good deal. As usual, used the PRICELINE link.
  7. Hi guys, my wife and I plan to make a trip to Florida next spring. We are currently eyeing April or May and want to stay for approx. 2.5 weeks. Our stops would be Miami, Orlando, Key West and another stop would be anywhere on the gulf of mexico, e.g. Sanibel island. When it comes wo weather I have read that both months are quite similar, is that correct? Quite warm, not too hot, not that much rain (at least that's what we hope :)). What we definitely want to avoid is spring break - I already searched for the spring break dates for 2012 and from what I found spring break is mainly in March, right?! Are there any towns/please we have to avoid? Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks so much! Best regards, Felix
  8. Tried a couple of days, starting at $90. Finally got the 987 Hotel - from what I can read, good location and stylish hotel. Looking foward! I think the hotel has not been reported yet, am I right? Used the PRICELINE link, as usual!
  9. First bid was unsuccessfull @ $65. Tried again with $70 and got the Mariott. As usual, I used the PRICELINE link.
  10. My first bid ($71) was accepted - acutally I thought I'd get the Sofitel, but I won't complain about the Hilton :) Maybe I could have won the hotel with a lower bid... As usual, I used the board's PRICELINE link!
  11. We tried a couple of times to get a 4* property, bid up to $ 110. After a quick search of 3.5* hotels in Boston we decided to try to bid for 3.5* and won the Boston Sheraton for $75. We used the PRICELINE link! Regards!
  12. I think we got a good deal - the hotel has been rated very good and is also in a great location. As usual, we used the PRICELINE link! Regards!
  13. My first two bids were 70 and 75. At 75 I got free rebids if I added $22. Waited a day and tried again with 80 dollars - and won! Great hotel, fantastic location! Used the PRICELINE link.
  14. By the way - the zone in the thread topic is wrong. Acc. to Priceline, the hotel is in the ESB area.
  15. Yes, I am happy too!! Thanks again Aaron for your great advice!!
  16. I just checked at Priceline - it is a 4* property in the Empire State Building area (although I would say it is nearer to TSQ than to ESB). Here's the tripadvisor link: http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g6...y_New_York.html
  17. Thanks Aaron! We followed your advice and worked up further to $200 and we suceeded!! The Bryant Park Hotel (I guess this must be zone TSQ) for $205. As far as I can see, that hotel has never been reported yet, has it? Anyway, according to the website the rates are 300+ so, I guess we made a good deal. An the location looks to be awesome, only a couple of blocks south of Times Square and only a couple of steps to 5th Avenue. Tripadvisor has it ranked at No.10 of all hotels in NYC. Is anyone familiar with this hotel? BTW: we used the board PRICELINE-link!
  18. Dear all, We (my girlfriend and I) have unsuccessfully been trying to bid for a 4* hotel room in NYC for the dates September 17th to September 22nd and would ask for your help here. We
