Thanks for your help - I decided not to go ahead with the HOTWIRE options and keep my Thompson reservation so please close the thread (the rates have gone up since i originally booked so I could not use your other sites for the booking unfortunately, but will do in the future!)

Thank you for your help! I booked a room at Soho House in the end but may do an extra night somewhere else on Monday with an on the day booking. Any tips for the best strategy to book on the day through either Priceline or Hotwire?

Thanks for your help. I haven't had any wins as I either booked a hotel direct or the trip was cancelled. I think I won't take the risk on this booking too as I don't want to stay in the Trump! I'll definitely add any trips I do book to the board. Thanks again.

Hi, I'm trying to book a special anniversary trip for a night in a 5* hotel in Chicago on the 8/28. Only one option is coming up on HOTWIRE and PRICELINE EXPRESS and I think it's the Trump. Unfortunately I would rather not stay there as we stayed last year. Do you think I'm correct with my guess?
