Used Better Bidding Priceline Link. Started the Bid at $95.00 in Asheville Historic Biltmore Area. Added a new areas and increased the bids until finally won at $112.00. Room subtotal: $224.00 Taxes & fees: $42.74 Total charged: $266.74

First bid was $145.00 was offered to increase to $174.00 and get the room. Added one area and bid $159.00 and received the Courtyard By Marriott.

It took 6 bids changing locations but finally won at $120.00 (used PRICELINE link)

Note: Had $7.00 priceline bonus cash to utilize per night. 1st bid was for 115.00 (122.00 with bonus cash) rejected but offered to give the room for $149.00. Added a non-zone and increased bid to 124.00 (131.00 with bonus cash) Bid was accepted. There is a $20.00 additional resort fee per night though.

Bid $40.00 for a 3*....was not accepted, raised $2.00 to $42.00 and lowered to 2 1/2 star. Was flying in on 4/30/11 evening and needed a close hotel to catch a 7:30 am flight the next morning.

3* Seattle (Airport SEA) Hilton Initial bid was $45 and was accepted.
