  1. I have been bidding for three days now, using the PRICELINE link from your page of course! I was bidding 3.5*to 4* properties, I started bidding at $50 and finally got an accepted offer today at $70 for the Hyatt. I feel ok about this price, I know people have got this property for around $50 in the past and I do know that a twilight convention is downtown that weekend, which may be the reason for the higher bid. I happen to be going to the Reds/Cubs game so I dont care about the twilight convention, timing is everything I guess. Also there have been some not so great reviews of this property saying mostly that it is outdated, I really hope this isnt the case.

  2. Taking a trip to Chicago and planning on bidding on Priceline. We'd like to win at $70 a night but please let me know if this is unrealistic. Also, we are taking a little bitty one (1 yr old) and need to know what area we should target. Obviously, we will not be going to bars or fine dining establishments!

    Oh, the dates are 3/14-17.

This is a realistic goal. I got exactly $70 a night for a four star hotel on priceline in downtown chicago for the dates of 3/26 to3/28 the hotel I got was the millenium knickerbocker in the chicago nma area. good luck

  3. I am new to your forum and It has a great wealth of information, also I am new to Priceline, your forum gave me the information needed to be sucessfull in my first ever bidding with Priceline. And yes I did use your PRICELINE link so credit is due to you all. Ok so I bid the downtown Chicago area (NMA-River North) for the dates of 3-26-10 to 3-28-10 started with a bid of 60$ bidding in 2$ increments up to 70$ and that price was accepted by the Millenium Knickerbocker hotel, I feel that this is a great deal for a Fri/Sat night stay in Chicago, I checked thier direct website and the same rooms for those dates are going for 179$ per night my two night total with taxes comes to 173$ Its like a two for one deal! a savings of 109$ per night WOW! Im really glad I came across your site It saved me 218$ thanks again.
