My bid of $150 was rejected, albeit for a longer period of time (5/20-5/31) and I that is when I received the message suggesting a $25 higher bid (which I ignored). Perhaps if I had upped my next bid to $155 the Sheraton would have come up, but I bumped to $160 and the Hyatt accepted. Guess we'll never know.
Hey guys, submitted a bid of $20 for a convertible on the above dates, accepted 1st time around. guess I should have bid $15 but I am not complaining. Total price was around 300 with taxes (through Alamo).
My friends and I rent one every year to go to a Nascar race, but we haven't had much success at finding one at a discount. We live the the St. Louis area, so vendors are limited. Fortunately we are spreading the pain across 5 people.

Got the Hyatt on KB for $160 from 5/20 to 5/31. Followed your strategy and at $150 got the "if you bid $25 more you can get it" message. Re-bid the additional free zone at $160 and success!
Thanks for the advice!
Anybody know if this board is active? My post has been up for a week with no reply. Thanks
Planning on using PL (or HW) for Maui trip. Information follows. Would you please look over and offer a strategy? Would prefer to stay in one hotel/location for the duration, but will be flexible if that seems impossible.
