Thanks!
Ended up spending $124 plus tax (total $160) on Hot.wire (linked through you) for Westin New York, which was billed as a 4* Times Square, 95% recommended hotel. Just now tried to go back to see what the listed amenities were, but it is no longer coming up as an option. Sorry don't have more info!
Says it's 100% recommended. Free Internet, Pet Friendly, Fitness Center, Business Center. I could not find a 4 and a half star hotel listed on the Hotwire hotel list for that area. Appreciate any help!
Using the info from this Hotwire Boston thread, I just booked a room at the Veritas, which is now going for $153.00 (plus taxes, cancellation insurance, etc., total of $192.61) for the night of August 21. Thanks very much! :)
for Tuesday night, May 4th. Hope it's nicer than the last time I stayed there around 8 - 10 years ago. Room was tiny and worn, was a @ 2 1/2 star at best at that time.
I guess what I'm saying is that despite the kids' ages, we could do 2 queens and a cot in one room to save money. Happy to be in 2 rms if we could afford the place! I was hoping we might be able to make it under $200 (incl.taxes). Does that seem crazy?
We did see previous post re: Salisbury, but hotel is full that night. Any suggestions appreciated--we are flexible in terms of where we stay, but would probably prefer mid- or uptown. We are family of 5 with kids 23, 19 and 15 reuniting in NY. Thanks!
