Thank you for the help. I thought maybe it was the Renaissance but somethings weren't exactly matching up. I don't know how to keep adding on to an existing post. I didn't end up getting anything thru HOTWIRE or PRICELINE for earlier dates.

Hi All I am looking at 10/31 for one night in Ft. Lauderdale Las Olas ,downtown, port everglades area on hotwire and I can't figure out this hotel. $129 amenities smoke free fitness center pool restaurant business center high speed internet thru my research i only see two hotels with 3 1/2 for embassy suites and riverside. the amenities that are listed on my cheat sheets don't match either one. so any help would be great thanks!

thanks so much for your help. I am not sure what to do yet. I found out that the W hotel has a glass door for the bathroom in a king size room. I am not sure if I like that so much. I might try another area of Ft. Lauderdale. What i meant about 5 hotels for one area is when you see the area's on HOTWIRE it will only list one hotel with the ammenities but on the side it will show (5) hotels for Beach area. I don't know how to explain it better. Dawn

Hi All This is my first time trying to post here and my first time trying HOTWIRE. I have done some research but am still a newbie at this. also how come hotwire will say 5 hotels for a Ft. Lauderdale Beach Area but only give price on 1? Does it mean that is all the have to choose from and only one they are giving a price on? Can you please help me identify these hotels please? It is for two people and I am trying to get something on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale. It doesn't seem I could find a hotel on the beach because this listing is saying it is not directly on the beach. I used the link here for PRICELINE. Sheraton Old San Juan 2/28/10 for one night $85 I am just so thankful to get a hotel. I was bidding on Resort level and 4* for more money and wasn't getting a bite. I lowered it and lowered the star level and I finally got something.

Hi I am new to this board. I just found about you. I did have success with my first bid ever on priceline about a month ago. I have tried again for the second time to get post cruise 2/28- 3/1 with no sucess yet. I needed some help and wasn't sure how to go about it. I have tried to get a resort hotel in the San Juan Puerto Rico. I started out with $88, $99, $105 and $110 with adding other zones that don't have the resorts over a period of a few days and they were all rejected. When I did this for a week earlier for one night I got the Caribe Hilton for $99 so I couldn't figure out why I was having a hard time with these other dates. I was looking at the other advice you guys give other people and talk about rebidding by Selecting Resort San Juan Bid a certain price if rejected add re-bid zone 1 , and so forth and so on all the way to zone 5. so stupid or not i am not understanding that how you just rebid each zone in a row? Can anybody help with easier step by step instructions for me to understand better than the instructions I mention above so that I can get a hotel room? Thanks DM
