Using your strategy to add a zone that did not have a Resort level property my husband and we were able to place a total of 4 bids per day. Started at 100 and used small increment increases with several counter offers which we declined. Won at $131 which was less that the first counter offer. And less than $199 listed on Priceline list view and the Sheraton site. We did use your link to PRICELINE. Thanks again for the service you provide!

Initially we were looking for an something close to the airport for our first night after a late arriving flight. Started bidding at $55 went to $69 unsuccessfully. What appeared to be the same hotel was listed on Hotwire for $84. A day later noticed that HOTWIRE dropped to $69. Placed fist bit at $60 - declined, my husband placed his PRICELINE bid at $65 and it was accepted. We were offered to extend days at the same rate which we did for 2 additional days. These 3 days will be used for day trips and we really just needed a place to sleep and could not find available reasonable accommodations in Paia area. We will then move the Hyatt Regency Resort (mentioned in a previous priceline hotel thread) in Lahaina for the next 6 days. Aloha!

Feb 17-23, 2010 Started bidding at $115 - counter offer came back at $138 My husband bid $120 and it was accepted! I hope I have the same success with my other 6 nights and car rental.
