  1. I hope this is not inappropriate, but I am hoping to find out some information, to determine should I make a purchase with Norwegian Airlines. The flights specifically to London from mainly Fort Lauderdale or perhaps New York. Their prices seem too good to be true. I've read mixed reviews and am hoping to get some feedback here. Thanks!
  2. This was a Priceline.Express Deal. It is indeed a 3* hotel. The guaranteed amenities are free internet, pets allowed, and bed choice available.
  3. Purchased a Priceline Express Deal, was offered a midsize car for $11. I decided to NYOP under $11. I was rejected, but offered the car at $11. With taxes & fees, this offer was a dollar and change cheaper than the Priceline.Express offer.
  4. I decided to stay in Milwaukee and take a party bus on gameday. Accommodations include microwave, refrigerator, and full kitchen with cooking utensils and dinnerware. Parking is $8. There is a restaurant of some renown on the premises.
  5. I need help identifying this Priceline.Express Deal. It's a 2* Green Bay Airport for $178; during 9/13/14 - 9/15/14. Rated 8.0 out of 10 (or higher) guest favorite Guaranteed Amenities: Free Breakfast Free Internet in room Indoor Swimming Pool Free Parking Airport Shuttle Business Center Fitness Center Thanks!
  6. Thanks for the quick response. I love the price; but I have an uneasy feeling about it.
  7. I need help identifying and a recommendation on a 2* Green Bay area hotel; that is listed for $147 a night between 9/13/14 and 9/15/14. The amenities are as follows: ◾Free Parking ◾Free Breakfast ◾Free Internet ◾Pet friendly ◾Indoor pool(s) ◾Smoke Free Rooms ◾Fitness Center ◾Pool(s) ◾Business Center ◾Internet access ◾Accessible for the blind ◾Accessible for the deaf ◾Accessible path of travel ◾In-room accessibility ◾Accessible bathroom ◾Handicapped parking ◾Roll-in shower Thank you.
  8. Good news, bad news. I got a downtown hotel at a good price. Unfortunately, it is the Westin; with it's $39 a day parking. I had a $25 Bonus Cash; which broke down to $8.33 a day. Worked my way up from $44 and was accepted at $56 + Bonus Cash. I'll wait until later, as my itinerary develops; before deciding on renting a car.

  10. I'm trying to fit this trip into a really tight window. My flight would get in around 1am 12/5 and leave around 1am 12/8. I'm thinking about getting something really minimal, when I get in and moving on to something nice Friday morning. Then I'd book until Monday; but actually check out Sunday night. There doesn't seem to be much of a difference of rates, between Thursday and Friday. So I was also thinking about checking into something nice; when I get and checking out on Sunday morning. But this scenario would probably work better, if I had a car to kill the time before my flight. I've seen express deals in the low $70's for the whole weekend. That's a good price, I'd like to beat or match. My goal is to party Friday/Saturday, catch the game Sunday, and get on out of there.
  11. I am planning a December football weekend in Minneapolis. I'll probably rent a car. In researching, the downtown hotels don't list parking as an amenity. What is it like parking in downtown Minneapolis? Should I be aiming towards downtown east? The game is on Sunday; I'd like to partake of the Friday/Saturday nightlife. I'm not sure that I'd really need a car anyway; there could snow on the ground then. Any suggestions and/or recommendations on doing Minneapolis would be appreciated.
  12. The 4* Downtown New Orleans winner is the Hyatt Regency; as I suspected. I'm slightly disappointed because of it's location; but I've heard good things about the property itself.
  13. I'm slightly disappointed. I've heard some encouraging things about this property; but it's a distance from the action.
  14. That weekend there are a lot of Uptown parades; the InterContinental is on the parade route. I'm ending a stay at the Renaissance Pere Marquette (close to the parade route) on the 21st; I'd love to extend at that rate. I was thinking it might be the Hyatt Regency, since it's a distance from the parade route.
  15. I'm still seeing it. It's one room and the very first item on the search results.
  16. Thanks for the help identifying the Downtown South/Warehouse property during the same time period. I'm pretty much ready to pull the trigger on that one; but I'm trying to do my due diligence and identify this property of $11 difference first. The characteristics are: -2/21/14 - 2/23/14 -Downtown 4* New Orleans area Hotel -95% Customer recommended -hot Rate ($150; 47% off of $285) Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Internet access Thanks!
  17. There are no 4* hotels on your Hotwire hotel list. Please help in identifying this Downtown South/Warehouse hotel, with the following characteristics: -2/21/14 - 2/23/14 for $139/night - Pool (s) - Restaurant (s) - Business Center - Self service laundry - Internet access - Smoke Free Rooms - Fitness Center - Accessible path of travel - In-room accessibility - 4.5 on TripAdvisor Thanks!
  18. Great location, walking distance to Decatur street and the Marigny.
  19. Thanks for your response. By extension, I meant me personally bidding the next phase, not the actual prospective winning bid; because I imagine the price to drop dramatically after the holiday, as you illustrated. I never heard the part about extending a winning bid, though. I thought if offered an extension, you provide your dates and they either take it or leave. Are you sure? I'm open to HOTWIRE, but they seem to have a star inflation compared to PRICELINE. Do you have any idea, what are the hotels for the listed prices?
  20. I'd like some input regarding strategy and expectations; for 3* and above accommodations in the New Orleans Downtown, French Quarter, and Convention Center areas. It's a 3 phase trip. I definitely need a room for Presidents weekend (February 14-17). I'm interested in extending the trip to Thursday (February 20). If possible, I wouldn't mind extending it further to Sunday (February 23). Thanks
  21. Decent win, was hoping to do a little better, though. Mixed reviews. Comments are welcomed by anyone, who has stayed here.
