  3. Hi, just thought I would post some of the unsuccessful bids for I came across in the Disneyland area before winning a 2* $50 bid for the Travelodge Anaheim International Inn for Dec 23, 2013 to Dec 26, 2013. I made various bids until getting to the final successful bid. Unsuccessful Bids CA - Orange County (Disneyland - Anaheim Convention Center - Garden Grove Area 4* $52, $55, $57, $58, $60, $62 3.5* $52, $55, $57, $58, $60, $62 3* $52, $55, $57, $58, $60, $62 2.5* $45, $48 2* $47 CA - Orange County (Angels Stadium Anaheim) 3.5* $55, $60 3* $51 Hope this helps someone for planning their Christmas holidays. 4. To try and get Crowne Plaza select 3.5 star under the area Garden Grove and then also use the areas that are selectable that do not have 3.5 star in the area and this will let you have more than bid per night. Also, noticed that the regular Priceline Crowne Plaza rates are more for the saturday ($152) compared to the other days on your trip, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday ($97). This will affect your bidding price because they will be asking more for the saturday that the rest, but because they are all grouped together in the same will only accept a bid high enough to cover the more expensive night, they do not use an average. If you break the saturday away from the other days you will modt likely get the other days cheaper, probably not $42 dollars but definately cheaper than the bid price for a night that is regularly $152. When I got the Crowne Plaza for $42, the regular rate for all nights was $82, so now that the regular price for those days is $97, might be a tad more.
  5. Just won this bid afternoon Jan 24th with PRICELINE for $80 a night. Regina Inn Hotel & Confrence Center There was no previous bidding information for Regina Saskatchewan that I could find so started this bidding out blind, but it worked out in the end. Started bidding with wifes account $55 with Regina only 3*, no luck $60 with Regina 3* and Sherwood No.159 (Regina Suburb with no 3*), no luck $65 with Regina only 2.5*, no luck $70 with Sherwood No.159 (Regina Suburb) only 2.5* , no luck $75 with Regina and Sherwood No.159 (Regina Suburb) 2.5*, no luck, offered a rebid now for $10 more, exited out and started again with better bidding PRICELINE link At this point I maxed out all of my rebid options without either going down in hotel star ratings or waiting 24 hours. Didn't want to do either so I had my wife bid where i left off. Started bidding with my account $80 with Regina only 3*, won bid We just wanted a place to stay night before we leave early in morning for out LA trip so this fits nicely, not to mention that it is one of the nicer hotels in Regina. Not as cheap as the deals I raked in on LA and disney hotels, but still cheaper than walking off the street. Check in Feb 6th Check out Feb 7th Nights: 1 Price: $80.00 (US) Subtotal: $80.00 Taxes & fees: $17.89 Total Charge: $97.89 Always went back and used the betterbidding PRICELINE link. Thank you so much to the betterbidding community, won this as well as four other bookings for our trip to LA, still working on the cheap car rental now. I only started this bidding madness a few weeks ago but I am now addicted to the bidding process, THANKS to betterbidding.com, the best site hands down for bidding information. With betterbidding I will never look at traveling the same way again. :)
  6. Yup, just have the other person user their own name, contact info and credit card.
  7. Just won this bid morning Jan 24th with PRICELINE for $42 a night. Crowne Plaza Resort Anaheim Started bidding $33 with Garden Grove only, no luck $35 with Garden Grove and Anaheim Hills(no 3.5* hotel), no luck $37 with Garden Grove and Laguna Hills(no 3.5* hotel), offered a rebid now for $10 more, exited out and started again with better bidding link $40 with Garden Grove, Anaheim and Laguna Hills(no 3.5* hotel), no luck $41 with Garden Grove, Anaheim and Seal Beach(no 3.5* hotel), offered a rebid now for $12 more, exited out and started again with better bidding link $42 with Garden Grove and Laguna Beach(no 3.5* hotel), WON Wanted a place close to Disneyland, while this may be a couple blocks away from what I had read they have shuttle to disney, parking and high speed internet for $12 a night. Other places closer were quite a lot more money so even at $42 plus the $12 a night, can't complain, especially after a long day at disney, the shuttle will be appreciated. Also will save the $14 a day parking at disneyland. :) Check in Feb 16th Check out Feb 26th Nights: 10 Price: $42.00 Subtotal: $420.00 Taxes & fees: $66.10 Total Charge: $486.10 Always went back and used the betterbidding PRICELINE link, even when could change one star item, just incase priceline wouldn't honour credit. Won this as well as three other bookings for our trip to LA, now just have to win a bid for a cheap car now. I only started this bidding madness a few weeks ago but I am now addicted to the bidding process, THANKS to betterbidding.com, the best site hands down for bidding information. l never look at traveling the same way again. :) TIP: When you are bidding on a hotel for a trip, if both the husband and wife (or any couple) are both going on trip, play around with one persons credit card until maxed out all the priceline rebid options and then have the spouse bid with their own credit card and start all over again within the same 24 hour preiod. Great way to double your chances and double your fun.

  9. Just won this bid Jan 23rd with PRICELINE for $56 a night. Holiday Inn Universal Studios Hollywood (Beverly Garland Hotel) Started bidding up from $50 by a dollar at a time by adding sections that did not have a 4* hotel to my area selections of burbank / universal city and then lowered to 3.5* and then 3* and finally won this. Was hoping for a hotel close to Universal City and this is far better than being in Burbank so I cannot complain. Check in Feb 7th Check out Feb 12th Nights: 5 Price: $56.00 Subtotal: $280.00 Taxes & fees: $45.05 Total Charge: $325.05 Always went back and used the betterbidding PRICELINE link, won this as well as three other bookings for our trip to LA, now just have to win a bid for a cheap car now.
