Just won this bid morning Jan 24th with PRICELINE for $42 a night. Crowne Plaza Resort Anaheim Started bidding $33 with Garden Grove only, no luck $35 with Garden Grove and Anaheim Hills(no 3.5* hotel), no luck $37 with Garden Grove and Laguna Hills(no 3.5* hotel), offered a rebid now for $10 more, exited out and started again with better bidding link $40 with Garden Grove, Anaheim and Laguna Hills(no 3.5* hotel), no luck $41 with Garden Grove, Anaheim and Seal Beach(no 3.5* hotel), offered a rebid now for $12 more, exited out and started again with better bidding link $42 with Garden Grove and Laguna Beach(no 3.5* hotel), WON Wanted a place close to Disneyland, while this may be a couple blocks away from what I had read they have shuttle to disney, parking and high speed internet for $12 a night. Other places closer were quite a lot more money so even at $42 plus the $12 a night, can't complain, especially after a long day at disney, the shuttle will be appreciated. Also will save the $14 a day parking at disneyland. :) Check in Feb 16th Check out Feb 26th Nights: 10 Price: $42.00 Subtotal: $420.00 Taxes & fees: $66.10 Total Charge: $486.10 Always went back and used the betterbidding PRICELINE link, even when could change one star item, just incase priceline wouldn't honour credit. Won this as well as three other bookings for our trip to LA, now just have to win a bid for a cheap car now. I only started this bidding madness a few weeks ago but I am now addicted to the bidding process, THANKS to betterbidding.com, the best site hands down for bidding information. l never look at traveling the same way again. :) TIP: When you are bidding on a hotel for a trip, if both the husband and wife (or any couple) are both going on trip, play around with one persons credit card until maxed out all the priceline rebid options and then have the spouse bid with their own credit card and start all over again within the same 24 hour preiod. Great way to double your chances and double your fun.
