After going through the whole process, I got a message along the lines of, "Sorry, the room you requested is no longer available." I went back to see what was available, and the same description hotel (Boutique Hotel, Uptown Sedona) was there at a rate of $248. I tried closing my browser, but the rate remained at $248. After hitting the road, I tried again and the hotel was back to $219/night.

Original bid through Priceline link at $55 was countered with $64 Rebid w/ Carlise zone at $60 and was accepted. I had plenty of rebid zones, but just wanted to book it quickly so I did the $5 jump

I've been trying for 3 days in hopes of $140 (using the above PRICELINE link). Each time I was given the instant offer of $173. Today I started at $150, was given the offer, added Princeville and rebid at $160 and got it. We are staying down the road and needed just one more night for our trip, so this is perfect. Excited to stay there!

Was having no luck with higher stars and ridiculously high rates (for Priceline). Dropped to a 3*, bid $40, was countered with $55, bid $45 and was accepted. Only bummer is that our flight gets in at 1am and the shuttle stops running at 1am. Hoping for an early flight to avoid a cab. Used the PRICELINE link.

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a 3.5 or 4 star. I was using the 3.5 star as a rebidding option. Started at $40, added 3.5 stars and 4 different zones, bid was accepted at $54 Have a conference at a different hotel, but will be running the marathon as well and this hotel is right by the TRAX system, so that will be exceptionally convenient at 4am. Was looking for Cherry Creek first, Aurora as a second choice. Through rebidding, brought it down to 3*. Meant to put in $40, but my tired brain did $45. Oh well. Used the PRICELINE link for this win.

Amenities listed (in order): Fitness Center, Pool, Business Center, Laundry, Hi Speed Internet Sure beats the $450/night rate for the conference attending (at a close by hotel).

I've been bidding for months on these dates. On some tries, went up to $225 and got rejected. Tonight I started at $150, received a counteroffer for $190 added Kahului and $160 - rejected added Kihei and $170 - rejected added Wailea and $180 - accepted I know from a friend that the Hyatt is oversold for these dates, so I knew it would be the Sheraton. We are Hyatt fans, but looking forward to exploring the Sheraton for 3 nights before we move to our timeshare at the Westin KOR.

Must be my lucky night. I've been bidding for a 3.5* for our outbound trip to Maui at PDX, and wanted to be sure there was food and a pool. Took my chance on 3 star and got the Aloft again (also for 1/28) for $38 on the first try. I probably could have gone lower, but I'm just glad to have these two rooms booked now.

Been bidding for over a month on this. Got it first try tonight. This is part of our return trip from Maui. Still working on another PDX night for 1/17.
