This (Marriott New Orleans Convention Center) was just booked on a last minute planned trip to go watch some SEC basketball tomorrow. The hotel is actually listed on Priceline as French Quarter River-walk area and for $299.00 per night. However I used the name my own price method and checked Convention Center and Warehouse - Arts District as my 1st selection and won on my first bid for $67.00. This hotel must have recently been upgraded to 4 stars and looks to be fairly nice,with that said can't complain much since hotels are extremely high this weekend due to the tournament going on.

I picked up this nice hotel for Friday night 02/03/12 thru Sunday night 02/05/12. This is the first weekend of the Mardi Gras Parades and rooms are quite expensive with name your own price on Priceline and also avoided the risk of being stuck with the new Hyatt which is terrible in my opinion. Good morning everyone I have been trying to score a room for New Years weekend since around Thanksgiving, with no such luck until this morning. I have been bidding on PRICELINE for several years and am very familiar with all the rebidding techniques. This morning when I won the Intercontinental Hotel, it isn't even being listed in PRICELINE's inventory,which I find to be quite strange. However I got it for three nights 12/30/10 through 1/02/10 and have already called and confirmed my reservation with the hotel directly. This board (betterbidding ) rocks and I absolutely love it.
