A wee bit off topic but exactly a week before we were to check in my husband collapsed on the floor of our bedroom. An endoscopic operation to repair a one centimeter gastric ulcer and five days in the ICU. We still went, though took it easy and upon telling our story at checkin we were upgraded to a king suite overlooking the ocean with a balcony. Twas delightful, service was exceptional and we highly recommend Sunday brunch at Clark Cooke House :)

First time around for this trip, bid for 3* on Goat Island, $120/night for 2 nights (6/18-6/20) and not only did I win but they upgraded me to 3 1/2 *'s to the Hyatt. YAY! =) Used the PRICELINE link. Just wondering though, does anyone know if they still have the shuttle service to town? I used to stay there once/yr for work and they did back then but wasn't sure if they still had it.

Used PRICELINE link. Tried bidding $100 4* MTE and got rejected. Retried bidding $110 4* MTE, adding Chelsea and got accepted. Normal rate for these dates is $255.20/night. Question: pkg at this site is $55/day. Any recommendations for nearby alternative lots to keep it cheaper? I already looked at Icon and that will be around $76 for both days combined but I'm looking for other alternatives to make sure that's the cheapest we can get.

rts - That's a great price for that time of year. I won a bid of $120 at the Marriott at the Marina for April 15th and just assumed it was high due to the April vacation. We'll be sailing on April 16th as well on the Enchantment. Happy cruising! :)
